Shiba Inu (SHIB) is showing early signs of a shift in on-chain behavior, but the overall trend is still far from a confirmed reversal.
In the past day, around 82.5 billion SHIB tokens were withdrawn from exchanges, suggesting that some holders are moving assets off trading platforms. This often reflects reduced short-term selling pressure and a more “hold and wait” attitude among investors.
However, the broader picture remains mixed.
Exchange netflows are still slightly positive overall, meaning inflows have not fully disappeared. At the same time, large-holder outflows (Top 10 transactions) are gradually increasing, with the 7-day average outflow up more than 30%. This hints that bigger wallets may be quietly accumulating or repositioning.
Price action, however, remains subdued. SHIB is currently trading around $0.0000060, stuck in a tight consolidation range after a prolonged downtrend. The structure is shifting from decline to sideways movement, but there is still no clear breakout momentum.
Technically, RSI has recovered slightly above mid-levels, showing mild improvement in buying pressure. Still, major moving averages above continue to act as strong resistance, limiting upside attempts.
In simple terms, the market is balancing between two forces:
Selling pressure is slowly fading
But demand is still not strong enough to trigger a breakout
If this trend continues, SHIB could attempt a move toward the $0.0000065–$0.0000067 zone, where stronger resistance is expected. However, if inflows return aggressively, this stabilization phase could quickly reverse back into weakness.

Charles Hoskinson Says 34% of Bitcoin Could Be Stolen by Quantum Computers in 2030s


Charles Hoskinson used a lengthy video address this week to deliver what he described as a long overdue reckoning for Bitcoin maximalists, centred on a quantum computing threat he says is no longer theoretical and a proposed fix he says does not actually work.

As of March 1, 2026, over 34% of all Bitcoin has had its public key exposed on-chain, either through address reuse or legacy pay-to-public-key-hash formats. That represents approximately 8 million Bitcoin that could be stolen by an attacker with a sufficiently powerful quantum computer. Based on current research timelines, Hoskinson places that threat arriving in the 2030s.

“Not hypothetically one magical day in the future when unicorns fart rainbows,” he said. “In the 2030s. Right in front of your face.”

The Proposal That Does Not Solve the Problem

A Bitcoin Improvement Proposal currently circulating, BIP-361, attempts to address the vulnerability by freezing quantum-vulnerable funds and forcing a migration to post-quantum addresses. Hoskinson spent considerable time dissecting why he believes it fails on its own terms.

The proposal claims to be a soft fork. Hoskinson says it is not. It would require a hard fork, something Bitcoin has never done and, by the religion of its maximalist community, never will.

More critically, the proposed zero-knowledge proof recovery system only works for wallets built on the BIP-39 seed phrase standard, which was not introduced until 2013. Approximately 1.7 million Bitcoin, including an estimated 1.1 million belonging to Satoshi Nakamoto, exist in legacy wallet formats that predate this standard. There is no zero-knowledge proof that can recover those coins.

“1.7 million coins cannot be saved even under the steal your coins proposal,” Hoskinson said bluntly.

On-chain data indicates a growing divergence in investor stress levels across major crypto assets, with XRP and Solana showing significantly higher unrealized loss exposure compared to Bitcoin and Ethereum.
According to Glassnode, the “Relative Unrealized Loss” metric measures the proportion of market capitalization represented by tokens currently held at a loss. It provides a clearer picture of how much of the investor base is underwater relative to each asset’s size.
In simple terms, it shows how much of the market is currently “in loss” and how deep those losses are.
Recent readings highlight a clear split across top cryptocurrencies:
Bitcoin (BTC): ~11.9%
Ethereum (ETH): ~16.6%
XRP: ~31.8%
Solana (SOL): ~54.8%
While Bitcoin and Ethereum continue to show relatively moderate loss levels, XRP and especially Solana are experiencing much heavier unrealized losses.
This suggests that a larger portion of altcoin holders entered the market at higher price levels, leaving them more exposed during the recent downturn. As a result, these assets tend to carry heavier “overhang” pressure when sentiment weakens.
Importantly, however, current levels are still below the extreme stress seen during the 2022 bear market lows, meaning the market is under pressure but not in capitulation territory.
