Traditional payment systems continue to impose high costs on global merchants, with transaction fees often ranging from 3% to 5%, along with risks such as account freezes, chargebacks, and cross-border restrictions that limit business expansion.
Cryptocurrency-based payments are increasingly positioning themselves as an alternative — offering faster settlement, lower fees, and borderless transactions.
Heleket, a crypto payment processing platform designed for online businesses, aims to bridge this gap by providing a merchant-focused payment infrastructure rather than a trading or exchange service. When a customer pays in crypto at checkout, Heleket automatically generates a unique wallet address for the transaction. After blockchain confirmation, the system sends real-time notifications via webhook, enabling automated order processing without manual verification.

Ethereum MACD Has Just Seen A Potential Golden Cross

In a new post on X, analyst Ali Martinez has shared a technical analysis (TA) signal forming in the 1-week price of Ethereum. The signal in question is related to the Moving Average Convergence/Divergence (MACD), a technical indicator that’s generally used for identifying buying and selling points for an asset.

It involves two trendlines. The first, called the MACD line, tracks the difference between the 12-period and 26-period exponential moving averages (MAs) for the asset’s price. Meanwhile, the other level, known as the signal line, is the 9-period EMA of the MACD line.

Interactions between the two trendlines of the MACD indicator may provide hints about where the asset could be headed next; a surge from the MACD line above the signal line can be a sign that a bullish market shift may be occurring. On the other hand, the reverse crossover can be a bearish signal.

Now, here is the chart shared by Martinez that shows the trend in the MACD for the weekly price of Ethereum over the last couple of years:

In the graph, the histogram tracks the distance between the indicator’s trendlines. Earlier, this histogram was in the negative territory, indicating that the Ethereum MACD line was trading under the signal line. Recently, however, the metric has just turned into the positive zone, implying a bullish crossover may be forming.

Shiba Inu remains stuck within a range on higher timeframes, but has made a golden crossover on the shorter timeframes. What could happen next?

Shiba Inu (SHIB) trades at $0.000005826, down slightly over the past 24 hours. Its price continues to consolidate while larger-cap coins recover considerably, a trend that saw it lose its place as the second-largest meme coin by market cap to MemeCore (M).

Market users are exercising caution amid the price weakness, as evidenced by a 16% decline in trading volume over the past 24 hours. Shiba Inu’s open interest also took a hit, dropping 8% in the same timeframe to 9.37 trillion SHIB ($56.24 million). This suggests that both spot and derivative participants are looking elsewhere. 

However, Shiba Inu recently printed a golden cross on the 30-minute timeframe, an optimistic sign despite the negative trend. For the uninitiated, this cross happens when the 50-period moving average pushes above the 200-period moving average, signaling that buying momentum is increasing.

The golden crossover occurred on Tuesday, signaling a shift in momentum. At the crossing, SHIB printed its largest green candle of the day on the 30-minute timeframe, rising 1.35%.
Currently, this crossover still holds, even though SHIB has consolidated lower from the intraday high of $0.00000603. This trend could see the meme coin rebound considerably when momentum returns and if the broader market conditions remain favorable.

However, it is worth noting that some analysts view a golden cross as a passive indicator that reflects what has already happened in the market. The crossover on lower timeframes is also tricky, as a death cross can also easily form.

American stock markets are forging ahead with strong gains, even against the backdrop of ongoing tensions in the Middle East. The Nasdaq index surged by 1.6% and closed higher for an 11th consecutive trading session—its longest winning streak on record—breaking the 24,000-point mark for the first time in its history. Meanwhile, the S&P 500 rose 0.8% to a new all-time high above 7,000 points. These milestones signal robust risk appetite among investors and reinforce the ongoing rally mood in traditional financial markets.

The positive momentum on Wall Street has extended to crypto-linked stocks as well. Shares of Coinbase, one of the largest U.S.-based crypto platforms, jumped by 6.2%. Trading app Robinhood, popular with retail investors, recorded gains of over 10%. Strategy, known for its Bitcoin asset management, also saw its share price climb by 4.4%.

Bitcoin volatility persists at crucial levels

On Wednesday morning, Bitcoin again tried to climb above the $75,000 mark. However, buying interest declined at this level, and the price encountered strong resistance once more.

“As of yesterday, we were turned back at the upper boundary of the two-month sideways range. Yesterday’s optimism is now being questioned,” explained Wintermute market maker Jasper de Maere.

Bitcoin hits ‘near-term selling pressure’ after rally to $76K: CryptoQuant


Bitcoin deposits to crypto exchanges surged on Tuesday as it rallied above $76,000, suggesting it is hitting “near-term selling pressure” as investors move their coins into a position for sale, according to CryptoQuant.

In a report on Wednesday, CryptoQuant said the size and rate of Bitcoin ($BTC) inflows to exchanges have increased since the rally, with hourly inflows spiking to 11,000 $BTC, the highest since December.

CryptoQuant said it is a “historically reliable warning signal of near-term selling pressure, as holders move coins to exchanges in preparation for potential distribution at key resistance zones.”

It added that the average deposit size also increased to 2.25 $BTC, the highest since July 2024, and similar to January, when average deposits peaked at 2 $BTC before the price nearly halved from $100,000 to $60,000.

Crypto investors have been hoping for a Bitcoin rally as the war in Iran appears to be de-escalating. However, a large shift of Bitcoin into crypto exchanges could suggest any rally would be short-lived.

TradingView shows Bitcoin hit $76,052 on Coinbase on Tuesday, securing its highest price since early February.

However, CryptoQuant said that as Bitcoin nears its $76,800 realized price, it will act “as a ceiling for relief rallies,” and traders who are nearing breakeven on their holdings will be “incentivized to sell, capping further upside.”

It added that Bitcoin’s rally in January was capped as it hit its realized price at the time, which caused prices to reverse, and “the same dynamic may repeat if selling pressure builds from current levels.”
