July 6 opened with mixed sentiment in the market, and both red and green charts were found across the assets. Among them, Cardano (ADA) is struggling to regain its lost momentum. It has lost a modest 1.94% in value, currently trading at around $0.1863. It can be considered under pressure as bears pave the way. 

If it succeeded in attracting the bulls into the charts, it’s easy to escape the downside trading pattern. It is worth noting that the technical structure may turn firmly bearish, with the price trend confirming that negative momentum continues to dominate the broader ADA market.

Is Cardano’s price rally over? Here’s why ADA could target $0.30 next

Every sharp parabolic rally can easily be written off as another hype cycle.

At first glance, Cardano [ADA] seems to fit that narrative. After three consecutive red quarters, each posting average losses of more than 40%, ADA had become one of the weakest-performing major altcoins this cycle. But is that trend finally starting to reverse?

From the technical standpoint, ADA has kicked off Q3 with a strong 30% rally, outperforming the broader altcoin market. More notably, its gains are over 2.3x larger than Ethereum’s [ETH] so far this quarter, suggesting that capital may be rotating back into ADA as momentum begins to build.
But zooming into the charts, things start looking a bit different.

On the daily timeframe, ADA has already pulled back more than 2% in under 48 hours after pushing above the $0.20 level, a resistance it also failed to clear back in mid-June. That repeated rejection keeps a breakdown firmly in play. Pair that with a near-parabolic run over the past week, and it’s not surprising to see traders taking profits instead of chasing higher prices.

At first glance, that makes it easy to label ADA’s rally as just another hype cycle. The fundamentals don’t help that case either. Cardano’s total value locked (TVL) has dropped nearly 68% over the past year. According to DefiLlama, TVL has fallen from $276.19 million to around $89.16 million today, a sharp decline that suggests on-chain liquidity has yet to catch up with the recent price action.

Taken together, the charts and on-chain data make ADA’s recent 2% pullback look like the start of a deeper correction. But markets are all about timing. And right now, the timing suggests FOMO is still in play.

Bitcoin Price Forecast: BTC faces rejection at $64,000 amid persistent ETF outflows

Bitcoin faces rejection around the key resistance level of $64,000 on Monday, after recovering over 6% in the previous week.

US-listed spot ETFs recorded weekly outflows of $526.26 million through Friday, marking the eighth consecutive week of withdrawals.

Geopolitical uncertainty remains elevated despite a fragile US-Iran interim agreement, with renewed concerns over the Strait of Hormuz keeping investors cautious.

Bitcoin (BTC) is struggling below $64,000 on Monday after recovering more than 6% over the previous week. Institutional selling continued, with spot Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) recording net outflows of over $520 million last week, marking the eighth consecutive week of withdrawals. Meanwhile, renewed concerns over the Strait of Hormuz keep investors cautious, capping the potential upside move for the Crypto King.
Institutional demand continued to weaken. SoSoValue data show that spot BTC ETFs recorded an outflow of $526.64 million last week, marking the eighth consecutive week of outflows since mid-May. If this outflow trend continues and intensifies this week, BTC could see a correction ahead.

Aave V4 crosses $250M – But ONE liquidity challenge still remainsAave [AAVE] V4 has reached an important adoption milestone, highlighting continued demand despite a challenging DeFi environment. The protocol has now surpassed $250 million in deposits, reflecting strong early traction for its upgraded lending infrastructure.

This growth was driven by improvements in capital efficiency, enhanced risk parameters, and expanded lending options to attract additional liquidity. As well as growing the amount of deposits, it is also essential that the quality of these deposits remain high.Some portion of the deposits to V4 were due to users moving their previous positions from V3. Yet, they did not all represent new capital entering the Aave ecosystem.

Despite this, there have been positive signs indicating that new deposits continue to flow into the platform. This is in addition to the migrated assets. For Aave to be able to sustain further growth, they need to continue to draw new capital into the platform.Should V4 continue to outperform V3 in terms of true net additions of liquidity, then Aave can solidify its position as the dominant liquidity provider within DeFi.

Broader liquidity tells a different story
Although Aave V4 continues to see record-breaking deposit numbers, the overall trend in liquidity is much more nuanced. The TVL previously reached an all-time high of about 13.4 million ETH. However, it fell dramatically due to the recent downturn in markets.

TVL has since bounced back to about 7.4 million ETH. Still far from the previous highs, this indicates that significant amounts of capital have been slow to recover even with improvements in investor sentiment.
