A new poll from Hebrew University of Jerusalem shows Israeli public opinion is sharply divided over the U.S.–Iran ceasefire brokered through Pakistan, highlighting growing uncertainty over the region’s future direction.
According to the survey of 1,312 Israeli adults (conducted April 9–10, margin of error 3.2%):
41% support honoring the ceasefire
39% favor continuing military strikes on Iran
19% remain undecided
The results suggest a near-even split in public sentiment, with no clear consensus on how Israel should proceed.
Ceasefire Holds, But Regional Conflict Continues
While the agreement has paused direct U.S. and Israeli airstrikes on Iran, fighting in the broader region remains active.

The survey also reflects declining political support for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ahead of Israel’s upcoming election in October.

Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson ignited an open dispute with major ecosystem entities such as the Cardano Foundation and Emurgo, questioning the efficiency of their spending. The trigger for the discussion was a request to allocate 14 million $ADA worth around $3,3 million from the treasury to host the annual Cardano Summit and participate in a conference in Singapore.

While $ADA is struggling to hold key price levels, Hoskinson directly stated that "parties" will not save the price — infrastructure will.

For the cost of this proposal, it is possible to maintain up to six permanent offices worldwide that would operate like a hub in Buenos Aires, Hoskinson emphasized. In his view, only a “living” presence across different parts of the world proves to markets that the Cardano network is thriving, while attending parties delivers only short-term media impact.

As part of the new strategy, the treasury must stop issuing “free grants.” Funded projects would return up to 30% of capital back to the treasury, which would then use the proceeds to buy $ADA from the market, creating natural buy pressure.

As of April, opinions are divided. Skeptics argue that coworking spaces will not lift the price in the short term, as investors are primarily driven by price action, not offices.

Supporters of Hoskinson believe that abandoning expensive conferences in favor of real development is the only way to survive amid intense competition with Solana and Ethereum.

'Think bigger': Michael Saylor's Strategy buys another 13,927 bitcoin for $1 billion as holdings reach 780,897 BTC

Strategy has purchased another 13,927 BTC for approximately $1 billion at an average price of $71,902 per bitcoin — taking its total holdings to 780,897 BTC.

The latest acquisitions were funded by proceeds from the issuance and sale of the company’s STRC perpetual preferred stock.
Bitcoin treasury company Strategy SMSTR0% acquired an additional 13,927 BTC for approximately $1 billion at an average price of $71,902 per bitcoin between April 6 and April 12, according to an 8-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission on Monday — its fourth-largest weekly purchase this year.

Strategy now holds a total of 780,897 BTC — worth around $55.4 billion — bought at an average price of $75,577 per bitcoin for a total cost of around $59 billion, including fees and expenses, according to the company's co-founder and executive chairman, Michael Saylor.

For perspective, that's the equivalent of more than 3.7% of bitcoin's total 21 million supply and implies around $3.6 billion of paper losses at current prices.

The latest acquisitions were made using proceeds from at-the-market sales of its perpetual Stretch preferred stock, STRC. Last week, Strategy sold 10,028,363 STRC shares for approximately $1 billion. As of April 12, $21.6 billion worth of STRC shares remain available for issuance and sale under that program, the firm said. No shares of its Class A common stock, MSTR, were sold last week, with $27.1 billion remaining under that ATM program.

Strategy's STRK, STRC, STRF, and STRD perpetual preferred stock's respective $21 billion, $4.2 billion, $2.1 billion, and $4.2 billion ATM programs are in addition to the firm's "42/42" plan, which targets a total capital raise of $84 billion in equity offerings and convertible notes......
