$XRP remains under pressure after failing to sustain last week’s recovery attempt. The latest price action shows sellers regaining control near a key resistance zone, pushing the asset back toward a major support area that is now becoming the focal point for the short-term trend.

Ripple Price Analysis: The Daily Chart

On the daily timeframe, $XRP continues to trade within a broad descending channel and remains below both the 100- and 200-day moving averages. The recent rebound stalled beneath the 100-day MA and the lower boundary of the highlighted resistance zone around $1.28 to $1.35, reinforcing the bearish higher-timeframe structure.

The most recent development is the rejection from that resistance area and the subsequent move back toward the $1.07 to $1.15 demand zone. This support region has repeatedly attracted buyers throughout June and remains the most important level on the chart.

As long as $XRP holds above this zone, the market may continue consolidating within its current range. However, a decisive breakdown below $1.07 would expose the previous swing low and significantly increase the probability of another leg lower.

On the upside, buyers must reclaim the $1.28 to $1.35 resistance area before any meaningful trend reversal can be considered.

The European Parliament’s Economic and Monetary Affairs (ECON) Committee on Tuesday backed a comprehensive framework for the digital euro, clearing the way for final legislative negotiations with member states and the European Commission.

The initiative aims to provide a secure and innovative payment option for consumers and businesses while strengthening Europe’s strategic autonomy in payments. The digital euro would be available in both online and offline forms, with offline transactions designed to function similarly to cash and supported by strong privacy protections.

Under the proposal, distribution would be handled by banks, payment providers, e-money institutions and regulated crypto asset firms, with broad acceptance requirements for merchants.

Consumers would be able to access essential services free of charge, while fee limits would apply to merchant and inter-provider charges. Lawmakers also proposed safeguards to protect financial stability, including limits on individual holdings and restrictions on business use, while ensuring the digital euro remains non-interest-bearing.

The package also includes provisions to preserve access to cash and ensure resilience in payment systems. According to lead negotiator Fernando Navarrete Rojas, the objective is to expand payment choice by offering a secure European digital alternative while protecting the continued use of cash.

Alongside preparations for a retail digital euro, the ECB is also developing wholesale CBDC infrastructure and plans to begin testing related settlement solutions in 2026.

The report references several third-party forecasts. According to the article, Standard Chartered believes XRP could reach $8 if spot XRP ETFs attract significant investor demand and U.S. regulations become more supportive of digital assets.

The article also cites analysts on TradingView who expect XRP to rise toward $3.30 and $8.50 after breaking out of a long-term symmetrical triangle pattern.

Other long-term models mentioned in the report are even more optimistic. They project XRP could reach $12.04 in the medium term and climb to $26 by 2030 with ETF adoption.
