World Cup Predictions: 100,000 USDT Daily

Strategy (formerly MicroStrategy) raised $335.5 million by selling common stock last week, then placed almost 90% of the proceeds into cash rather than Bitcoin as the company moved to shore up the preferred securities financing its cryptocurrency purchases.

The company sold about 2.71 million MSTR shares between June 15 and June 21 and added $300 million to its US dollar reserve, lifting the fund to $1.4 billion. It spent the remaining $34.9 million on 520 Bitcoin.

The allocation followed a sharp selloff in Strategy’s STRC perpetual preferred shares, which fell to a record intraday low of $82.50. STRC had been designed to trade near its $100 stated value and has become one of the company’s most important sources of capital for buying Bitcoin.

A Rare Bullish Signal May Have Emerged in Bitcoin! Analyst Explains in Detail!The leading cryptocurrency, Bitcoin, surged above $65,000 yesterday following positive developments from the US-Iran front and news of Strategy’s $BTC purchases.However, this rise was short-lived. $BTC fell to around $62,000 along with the declines seen in US stocks.

While the risk of further declines for Bitcoin still remains, one analyst shared a bullish signal for $BTC.

Market analyst Omkar Godbole compared two moving averages for Bitcoin: the 50-week simple moving average (SMA) and the 100-week moving average.

At this point, the analyst noted that the 50 and 100-week moving averages are very close to a death cross. Accordingly, the 50-week moving average, representing approximately one year, is very close to falling below the 100-week moving average. Based on current trends, the analyst predicts this crossover could occur as early as next week.

This phenomenon, referred to as a bearish cross among market analysts, can signal a market bottom and the beginning of a long-term bull market.

While the death cross is often interpreted as a bearish signal, according to the analyst, historical data suggests that this particular event marks the end of previous bear markets and is followed by a bull run.

Wintermute said crypto markets absorbed a risk reset before U.S. equities could fully respond, after the Federal Reserve held rates steady and U.S.-Iran talks lost momentum.

The market maker’s June 22 update said Bitcoin fell while stocks were still shielded by the Juneteenth market closure. It framed the move as a timing gap between always-open crypto trading and delayed equity price action.

Meanwhile, the Fed kept its target range at 3.50%-3.75%, but the message around policy changed. Wintermute said the statement became shorter, the easing bias disappeared, and officials moved closer to rate hikes than cuts.

The firm quoted the shift as one reason traders grew more cautious on Bitcoin, Ethereum, and other liquid crypto assets. At the same time, lower oil prices did not remove the rate concern, because markets focused on wider inflation pressure and a Fed that now sounded less willing to guide investors toward future cuts.

Cardano Now Ranks as the 4th Most Decentralized Network


The Cardano network ranks as one of the most decentralized networks in the crypto space, as the chances of compromise become nearly impossible.

Decentralization in this context refers to the even distribution of control and authority among network participants.

A well-decentralized network has broader participation in decision-making and is censorship resistant. Currently, Cardano ranks among the top four in crypto networks with these features.

Cardano Nakamoto Coefficient at 23

This ranking was determined by the Nakamoto coefficient. Named after Bitcoin founder Satoshi Nakamoto, the metric measures how decentralized a network is using multiple factors. One is the minimum number of independent entities that have enough control to disrupt consensus.

Disrupting consensus for a Proof of Stake mechanism requires 33% of the total stake or voting power. For Proof of Work, a miner would need 50% of the total hash power to achieve censorship.

The higher a network’s Nakamoto coefficient, the more decentralized it is. As of June 23, Cardano has a score of 23, the fourth-highest among all blockchains. This means that it would take the agreement of 23 independent network contributors to compromise the network. Analysts view this as a nearly impossible scenario in practice.

Notably, only three networks are more decentralized than Cardano using this metric. Polkadot ranks first with a Nakamoto coefficient of 178, the Ton Network ranks second at 72, while Avalanche ranks third at 26.
