China has expanded its export control measures by adding two major U.S. rare earth companies, MP Materials Corp (NYSE: MP) and USA Rare Earth Inc (NASDAQ: USAR), to its export control list, according to a notice issued by China’s Ministry of Commerce on Monday.The move is part of a broader package of restrictions targeting 10 American companies involved in sectors such as rare earth minerals, aerospace, defense, and drone technology. Under the new rules, exports of Chinese-origin dual-use items to the listed entities are prohibited with immediate effect.China’s Ministry of Commerce stated that organizations and individuals from any country or region are also prohibited from transferring China-sourced dual-use goods to the affected companies. The restrictions officially took effect on June 22 and are viewed as another step in the ongoing geopolitical and trade dispute between China and the United States.Among the companies impacted, MP Materials is a key player in the U.S. rare earth supply chain. The company operates the Mountain Pass mine in California, which is currently the only large-scale active rare earth mining and processing facility in the United States. Meanwhile, USA Rare Earth has been investing heavily in domestic rare earth magnet manufacturing as part of efforts to reduce America’s dependence on foreign critical mineral supplies.The latest export controls highlight the growing importance of rare earth elements in global technology, defense, and clean energy industries. Rare earth minerals are essential components in electric vehicles, advanced electronics, military equipment, renewable energy systems, and semiconductor manufacturing.Market observers believe the restrictions could further intensify concerns over supply chain security and access to critical minerals, particularly as Washington and Beijing continue t

Can TRUMP memecoin extend its rally as bulls target $2.27 breakout?
The Official Trump [TRUMP] memecoin extended its bullish streak for a second consecutive day. The factors driving the positive momentum in the memecoin appear to be the broader market recovery and traders’ bullish bets. 

At press time, TRUMP climbed 3.15% over the past 24 hours and was trading at the $1.90 level. Alongside the price increase, the memecoin’s trading volume also surged by 25% to $281 million. This indicates heightened participation from both traders and investors. 
According to the daily chart, TRUMP’s broader market trend remains bearish, driven by the breakdown of multiple key support levels, including $4.67, $2.73, and $2.27 over the past six months.

In fact, the memecoin continues to trade below the 200-day Exponential Moving Average (EMA) while forming a bearish lower-high and lower-low structure since its launch, indicating that sellers remain in control and the overall trend favors further downside. 
Based on the current price action, TRUMP is taking support from an ascending trendline that has been in place since the 5th of June 2026. If the memecoin remains above this trendline, it could continue to gain upward momentum. However, a major rally will only be possible if it breaks above the key resistance level of $2.27, which has acted as a significant hurdle since May 2026. 

Moreover, the possibility of a potential decline still exists, and it could occur if TRUMP breaks below the ascending trendline. If that happens, the market could witness a new low in the coming days. 

At the time of writing, TRUMP’s Average Directional Index (ADX) has fallen to 19.13, indicating weak trend strength in the asset. This suggests that the current price momentum is likely to fade, which further adds bearish pressure on the asset’s upside momentum.

H100 Shareholders Approve Bitcoin Deal That Would Make It Europe’s No. 2 Listed Treasury

H100 shareholders approved a deal to acquire two Norwegian bitcoin treasury firms, a move that would boost the company's holdings to 3,500 BTC.

H100 Group shareholders cast their votes in Stockholm on Tuesday, giving the company’s board authority to close acquisitions of two Norwegian bitcoin treasury firms — a deal that would take the company’s holdings from 1,051 BTC to around 3,500 BTC and rank it second among Europe’s listed bitcoin treasury companies.

The annual general meeting was the decisive checkpoint for H100’s binding share purchase agreements with Moonshot AS and Never Say Die AS. 

The two Norwegian companies hold a combined 2,450 BTC. Under the deal’s structure, existing H100 shareholders retain 30% of the merged entity, with the sellers taking 70%.

Adam Back, the British cryptographer best known as the inventor of Hashcash and the CEO of Blockstream, is a central figure in H100’s expansion. 

Back invested SEK 21 million — about $1.98 million — in H100 through a convertible loan structure with an option to expand to SEK 277 million, tying his capital to the company’s bitcoin accumulation strategy. 

He is a backer of Future Holdings AG, the Zurich-based bitcoin treasury firm H100 agreed to acquire in January in a separate deal that kicked off the consolidation run.

Back’s involvement gives H100 a credibility anchor that few European treasury firms can claim. His 1997 Hashcash paper was cited in Satoshi Nakamoto’s Bitcoin whitepaper, and Blockstream has been a cornerstone institution in BTC infrastructure since its founding in 2014. 

The deal would put H100 behind Bitcoin Group SE — the German firm that holds 3,605 BTC — among Europe’s listed bitcoin treasury companies. At Tuesday’s price of $62,453 per coin, down more than 3.7% on the day

The token traded around $63,640, down 0.9% over 24 hours and 3.3% on the week, per CoinDesk data, after touching about $65,076 on Monday and sliding through the session. The selling was marketwide. Ether fell 0.9% to $1,719 and is also down 3.3% on the week, XRP dropped 1.6% to $1.12 for a 9% weekly loss, solana lost 3.4% to $71 and dogecoin slid 6.6% over seven days.

Tron was the rare gainer, up 1.3% on the day and 4.6% on the week. Hyperliquid's HYPE fell 4.8% on the week.

The pressure came from outside crypto. A rotation out of this year's best-performing technology and chip shares sank global equities, with a gauge of Asian stocks falling more than 2% after a record close and South Korea's Kospi plunging more than 6% on fears that the rally in chipmakers had run too far.

S&P 500 futures fell 0.8% and Nasdaq 100 contracts dropped 1.3%, following a slide in megacap tech and rising bond yields that pulled US stocks lower on Monday. Brent crude edged below $78 a barrel and gold retreated.

The second-largest global money transfer company, MoneyGram, has officially joined the Solana ecosystem, with the intent to expand its core financial services to the Solana blockchain.

In a report on Monday, MoneyGram said it has launched a validator and also joined the Solana Developer Platform (SDP) as an infrastructure partner.

Being a validator allows the global payment leader to stake SOL tokens, process blocks, and directly participate in the network’s security. 

MoneyGram now runs a Solana validator

“Running a validator puts MoneyGram inside Solana’s consensus,” said Luke Tuttle, Chief Product and Technology Officer at MoneyGram.

The move will see MoneyGram connect its network of nearly 500,000 retail locations, with over 60 million customers, to Solana’s on-chain infrastructure, according to the announcement.

The firm said joining the Solana ecosystem comes as a natural extension of its commitment to integrating crypto into its core global payments platform over the last five years.

In 2019, MoneyGram partnered with RippleNet and processed billions of transactions using XRP-based On-Demand Liquidity products. However, the partnership was shelved following the Ripple-SEC ordeal in 2021.

By joining and running a Solana validator, Tuttle said the idea is that MoneyGram helps “run the rails we move money on.”

Solana now counts as the third network where the global payment giant operates a validator. 

In May, MoneyGram became one of the select groups of institutions designated to run a validator for remittance transactions on the Tempo network.
