Bitcoin Cash [$BCH], despite a strong run this year, could face another major decline that drives the asset toward $100, according to new on-chain insight.

Data across the spot and perpetual markets point to building selling pressure, with key indicators flashing the risk of a deeper move lower.

Bitcoin Cash faces a possible 50% decline
The Aloha on-chain signal, an indicator that has marked the tops and bottoms of asset prices on multiple occasions, shows that neither target has been met for $BCH so far.

If a drop materializes, the signal indicates the price would likely find a floor near $100—the level that typically marks its bottom—roughly 50% below where it trades now.

Wedson added that nothing guarantees the decline, noting that “no market ever gives certainty.” However, AMBCrypto reviewed the wider spot and derivatives data to gauge how that move could play out.

$BCH whales place large orders but lean short
CryptoQuant data shows near-neutral sentiment across $BCH’s spot and perpetual markets, though two indicators stand out and point to a rising risk of a bearish move. The average whale order size shows large holders firmly in control, averaging 229.96 $BCH, about $44,688 at press time.

Ethereum Price Faces Strong Resistance Near $1,800
On the daily chart, Ethereum continues to trade below the key resistance zone between $1,760 and $1,800, an area that has repeatedly attracted seller pressure. Despite bouncing from the recent lows near $1,500, ETH has yet to establish a convincing breakout above this supply region.

Ethereum has been moving inside a rising channel, gradually forming higher lows while pushing toward resistance. While this structure reflects short-term strength, it also resembles a corrective grind rather than an impulsive breakout. The latest rejection near the upper channel boundary around $1,770 shows that sellers are still defending the region aggressively. 

Unless ETH breaks above this channel and reclaims $1,800 with strong follow-through, the current structure may simply represent a relief rally inside a broader weak market.

A recent market assessment published by crypto trading company QCP Capital states that Bitcoin and the overall crypto market need new macroeconomic and industry-specific catalysts to initiate a strong uptrend.

According to the company’s analysis, Bitcoin attracted attention yesterday by rising above the $65,000 level. This rise was attributed to Strategy’s additional Bitcoin purchases and positive news flow regarding the company’s increased cash reserves. However, uncertainty remains as to whether this increase signals a lasting trend reversal.

QCP Capital highlighted that a mixed picture currently prevails across a wide range of risk assets, particularly in US equity markets. Noting the continued rotation of capital across sectors, the company stated that it is not yet clear to what extent these fund flows will be reflected in the cryptocurrency market.

The analysis also addressed various macroeconomic risks that are weighing on investor confidence. Ongoing geopolitical tensions between the US and Iran, market concerns surrounding Strategy’s STRC perpetual preferred stock issuance, and the stance of the new Federal Reserve chairman Kevin Warsh supporting tight monetary policies were cited as factors reducing risk appetite.

While short-term market weakness continues to worry investors, Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson said that many traders are missing the bigger catch. Speaking in a recent podcast, Hoskinson urged the crypto community to stop focusing on daily price swings and instead pay attention to the massive long-term growth happening across the industry. Cardano, he noted, often benefits from a long-term focus over reacting to short-term market moves.

“The Long-Term We Win”

At the same time, he also shared new details about his conversations with SpaceX, revealing that discussions touched on Starlink and future communication technologies. Notably, Cardano’s community has also speculated on these advancements and their potential impacts.

Hoskinson made it clear that short-term price drops do not change his overall outlook on crypto, especially regarding Cardano development and adoption.

“Crypto is the opt out. Crypto is the exit. Crypto is the solution,” Hoskinson said.

According to him, market ups and downs are normal, but the broader trend remains firmly upward. He pointed out that the crypto industry already has around 550 million users worldwide and expects that number to grow to one billion by 2030. As a result, Cardano could see even greater adoption in the coming years.

Hoskinson also predicted that a good portion of global financial assets could eventually move on-chain, with Cardano potentially playing a significant role.

These unlocks could introduce market volatility and influence short-term price movements. So, here’s a breakdown of what to watch.

1. Humanity (H)

Unlock Date: June 25

Number of Tokens to be Unlocked: 266.47 million H

Released Supply: 2.8 billion H

Total supply: 10 billion H

Humanity (H) is a decentralized identity protocol that utilizes biometric palm recognition, zero-knowledge proofs, and blockchain to verify the authenticity of real human users without exposing their personal data. It features a native Proof of Humanity (PoH) consensus mechanism.

On June 25, the protocol will unlock 266.47 million tokens. The tokens are worth $54.77 million and account for 9.41% of the released supply.

The unlock comes after the protocol suffered an exploit that resulted in losses exceeding $30 million. The H token plunged sharply following the incident. Although it recorded a notable recovery in the days that followed, the downtrend has since resumed amid growing macroeconomic and geopolitical pressures.

The team will split the released supply six ways. The ecosystem fund will receive 50 million H. Furthermore, Humanity will allocate 42.86 million altcoins to identity verification rewards and 12.50 million to the foundation operations treasury. 

Additionally, early contributors will receive 79.17 million H. Investors will gain 55.56 million tokens. Finally, the Human Human Institute Strategic Reserve will receive 26.39 million H.

2. MegaETH (MEGA)

The CFTC asked the public to weigh in on running standard futures around the clock and on listing perpetual contracts tied to physically delivered energy commodities such as crude oil. The request opens the door to importing the crypto-native perpetual design into the oil and gas derivatives markets.

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission issued the request for comment Monday afternoon, organizing it around two questions. The first asks how standard futures, including energy futures, would function on a 24/7 schedule with no change to their fixed expiration, delivery, or settlement terms. The second asks what happens when perpetual contracts reference physically delivered or storable energy commodities. Comments are due within 30 days of the notice's publication in the Federal Register, per the CFTC release.

The filing is a request for comment, a procedural step that gathers input ahead of any rulemaking rather than a proposed rule with regulatory text attached. The agency says it "intends to use the information and comments received to inform its understanding of these developments."

Selig's Innovation Pledge

Chairman Michael Selig framed the move as supporting new market designs without loosening guardrails. "As registered entities extend trading hours and introduce new contract designs, a clear, target="__blank" rel="noopener noreferrer ">said in the release. He added that the request "reflects the Commission's commitment to supporting responsible innovation, while preserving the protections against manipulation and market disruption that participants and the public rely on."
