Grayscale, the issuer of the spot Bitcoin ETF (GBTC), has deposited 1,863 Bitcoin—valued at roughly $124 million—into a Coinbase Prime wallet, according to blockchain tracking firm Onchain Lens. The transaction, observed on-chain, is part of the standard operational process for managing the firm’s ETF product, typically used to facilitate share redemption settlements tied to fund outflows.

Understanding the On-Chain Transfer

Large-scale transfers between ETF issuers and custodial or prime brokerage platforms like Coinbase Prime are routine in the digital asset management space. These moves are often triggered by investor redemptions: when GBTC shares are redeemed, the corresponding Bitcoin must be liquidated or transferred to cover the settlement. Grayscale has historically used Coinbase Prime as a key execution and custody partner.

The deposit of 1,863 BTC does not necessarily indicate a mass sell-off, but it does signal that Grayscale is actively managing its Bitcoin inventory in response to net fund flows. According to public data, GBTC has experienced intermittent outflows since its conversion to a spot ETF in January 2024, although the pace has slowed compared to earlier months.

The structural break on the 1-day timeframe came on Monday, the 8th of June. Since then, the token reached a low of $0.052 and climbed to the $0.554 level over the following 5 days.

The 40% drop over the previous day’s trading followed a rejection from the 61.8% retracement level. Structurally, H was firmly bearish. The market sentiment around the altcoin was not encouraging, either.

What has happened since the exploit?

This represented a whopping 1,064% move that was just part of the relief rally. It showcased extremely high volatility for a token that faced a major exploit. The protocol has also faced criticism following the exploit, damaging trust.

AMBCrypto reported that attackers gained access to the private keys linked to a foundation member. Crypto sleuth ZachXBT pointed toward a supply concentration to make the point that it was unclear if the exploit was theft or market maker-related.

Allegations of this kind helped explain the divided community.

An incident update, published on the 12th of June, helped clarify that the attacker used stolen administrative credentials to upgrade contracts.

A 14-Point Draft of the U.S.-Iran Agreement Has Allegedly Been Leaked—Here Are the ProvisionsSaudi Arabia-based Al Arabiya television has published the terms of a 14-point memorandum of understanding reportedly prepared between Iran and the United States. The text reported by Al Arabiya contains more detailed provisions compared to the version shared by the Iran-based Mehr News Agency.

According to the first article of the agreement, Iran, the United States, and the allies of the parties to the current war agree to immediately and permanently end the war on all fronts, including in Lebanon. The parties also commit to refraining from any hostile actions against each other, and to avoid threats or the use of force.

Parties to Meet for 60 Days to Reach Final Agreement
The text states that Iran and the US will mutually respect each other’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, and will not interfere in each other’s internal affairs. It also states that the parties will continue negotiations to reach a final agreement within a maximum of 60 days, a period that can be extended by mutual consent. This clause was not included in the version published in Iranian media.

According to the agreement, the US will immediately lift its naval blockade against Iran following the signing of the document. The goal is for Iran’s maritime transport capacity to return to pre-war levels within 30 days at the latest. The US also commits to withdrawing its military presence around Iran within 30 days of the final agreement being reached.

In return, Iran will take the necessary steps to restore commercial maritime transport between the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman to pre-war levels within 30 days. This process will include removing technical obstacles and neutralizing mines.
