Bitcoin ($BTC) has climbed roughly 40% from its February lows, bringing the price back to a critical resistance zone that could determine whether the bear market continues or finally ends.Bitcoin fell 2.25% to around $80,500 after failing once again to break above its 200-day EMA resistance.

Previous rejections from the same technical level triggered Bitcoin declines of 25% and 36%.

As of Monday, $BTC/USD was down 2.25% near $80,500, erasing its overnight gains as buyers once again failed to clear the 200-day exponential moving average (200-day EMA, blue line).

The level has capped Bitcoin’s rebound attempts since November 2025. Each rejection from the 200-day EMA has preceded steep drawdowns of 25% and 36%, respectively, putting the average decline near 30%.

In his Monday post, analyst Brett said breaking above the 200-day EMA, currently near $82,580, could be "the end of the bears." But given Bitcoin's ongoing pullback, the prospects of $BTC falling further in the coming sessions appear higher.

$BTC's price could fall toward $56,600 from current levels if it repeats its average 30% drawdown from the 200-day EMA rejection zone.

The $56,600 level aligns closely with Bitcoin’s broader macro support range.

A new Bitcoin Lifetime Support Model, highlighted by analyst PlanC, places $BTC’s long-term upper support band near $57,110. The lower support was roughly around the $46,760 level.

The model averages Bitcoin’s lifetime simple moving average with its single-, double-, triple- and quadruple-EMAs, then plots a 10% band around the result.

7 Democrats seen as 'key' to advancing CLARITY Act: GalaxyCrypto investment firm Galaxy Digital said seven Democratic lawmakers on the US Senate Banking Committee could be key to advancing the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act when it goes to markup on Thursday, sending it to the Senate for a vote.

In an X post on Sunday, Galaxy Digital labeled Democratic lawmakers Ruben Gallego and Angela Alsobrooks as "constructive/pro-framework" when it comes to crypto. Four other lawmakers are seen as "deal-makers," while one lawmaker is seen as "mixed."

"If Democrats vote for the bill in markup, likelihood of ultimate passage on the Senate floor increases significantly," Galaxy Digital said.

Capital B, a publicly traded company based in Europe, announced it has secured new investment to expand its Bitcoin reserve strategy. The company successfully raised approximately €15.2 million, or $17.8 million. The majority of this funding will be used for additional Bitcoin purchases.

According to the company’s statement, Adam Back, CEO of blockchain technology company Blockstream and a Bitcoin advocate, also participated in the investment round. Capital B management announced that they plan to purchase approximately 182 BTC with the new funding.

In recent years, the strategy of adding Bitcoin to the balance sheets of publicly traded companies has become increasingly common. Bitcoin, particularly seen as a hedge against inflation risk and a long-term store of value, continues to attract the attention of institutional investors. Capital B is among the European-based companies following this trend.

The company stated that its Bitcoin accumulation strategy is long-term and that they believe digital assets will play a larger role in the financial system in the future. Management also signaled that they may continue Bitcoin purchases in line with their goals of balance sheet diversification and shareholder value creation.

Institutional Bitcoin investments have recently gained momentum in the markets. The increase in inflows into spot Bitcoin ETFs, in particular, and the expansion of reserves by some large companies, indicate a strengthening institutional demand. Analysts state that European-based companies are also beginning to include digital assets in their institutional treasuries, following the example of the US.

The recent surge in Bitcoin prices is also seen as one of the factors accelerating these kinds of strategic purchases by companies.

Dogecoin Tests Long-Term Channel Support as $DOGE Returns to Key Zone

Dogecoin is trading near the lower boundary of a long-term rising channel, according to the chart shared by Bitcoinsensus. The $DOGE chart shows price near $0.095, close to a support area that has acted as a reaction zone several times in past cycles.

The channel stretches back to 2014 and shows $DOGE moving inside a broad upward structure. Previous touches near the lower boundary led to strong rebounds, while moves toward the upper boundary marked major cycle highs.

This latest test matters because $DOGE has returned to the same lower trendline after pulling back from its 2024 and 2025 highs. If buyers defend this area, the chart keeps the long-term channel structure active.

However, a break below the lower boundary would weaken the setup. It would show that $DOGE failed to hold the support line that shaped the wider trend for years.

For now, the main focus is whether Dogecoin can hold this long-term support zone. A bounce could shift attention back toward the middle of the channel, while a breakdown would put the wider bullish structure at risk.
