BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) accelerated Bitcoin ($BTC) acquisitions this week, absorbing over half a billion dollars in two days.
The largest spot $BTC ETF recorded a net cash inflow of about $505.7 million over the past two days, according to data from SoSoValue, as analyzed by Finbold on April 16. After opening this week with an inflow of $34.70 million, IBIT investors purchased $213.83 million in Bitcoin on Tuesday and $291.86 million on Wednesday.

DoubleZero Foundation, a project building high-speed data infrastructure for blockchains like Solana, has rolled out a new platform to speed up how trading firms access crypto market data — a sign of growing demand for Wall Street-style systems in digital asset markets.

The project, called DoubleZero Edge, went live on Thursday. Its first offering is a real-time feed of raw data from the Solana blockchain, giving traders faster access to information that can influence prices.

Solana, a high-speed blockchain popular with traders, produces large amounts of real-time data as transactions are processed. DoubleZero plugs into that system by working with validators to distribute it more quickly to market players.

Unlike traditional finance, where exchanges rely on specialized networks to deliver data at high speed, crypto markets still largely depend on the public internet: a setup that can introduce delays and inconsistencies. DoubleZero is trying to change that by building a dedicated system designed specifically for onchain data.

According to the company, the new network can shave tens of milliseconds off data delivery times, with bigger gains during periods of heavy network activity. For high-frequency trading firms, even small speed improvements can translate into a competitive edge.

The platform works by sending data over a private fiber network using multicast, a method commonly used in traditional financial markets to simultaneously distribute data to multiple participants.

Beyond speed, DoubleZero is also pitching a new economic model. Validators on the Solana network can earn additional revenue by supplying data to the platform, while traders pay to subscribe to the feeds using USDC.

Ethereum Price Prediction: Can ETH Clear $2,400 and Target $2,940?

ETH price is forming a rounded bottom on the 12-hour chart after bouncing from a local low of $1,940 on March 29, with a 20% rebound to $2,330 fueled by improving macro conditions.

The key technical level is $2,400, the neckline of the base structure. If bulls can close above it on meaningful volume, the measured move targets $2,940, representing roughly 32% upside from current levels.

For a deeper look at the recent ETH rally and price structure, the setup has been building since the March flush.

Support is anchored at $2,140, near the 20-day EMA, which acted as a retest zone during the recovery. Bears need a close back below that level to invalidate the rounded bottom thesis, if that breaks, $1,940 comes back into play.

CryptoQuant data shows whale profitability has returned post-rebound, with large-holder optimism pointing toward a $3,000 psychological target.

However, OI at $34 billion without a corresponding increase in network activity means leverage is outpacing fundamentals.

If Ethereum’s on-chain transaction volume and fee generation don’t expand alongside the price recovery, the rally lacks structural support and becomes purely a derivatives-driven phenomenon, fragile by definition.

principle against federal interference in state

judicial proceedings as the basis for her ruling.This

decision marks the second federal court rebuke

in 2026 of the Justice Department's strategy to

suppress state-level climate lawsuits. Earlier in

January, a separate federal judge rejected a similar

DOJ attempt to block Michigan from filing its own

climate suit against leading oil companies. The

Justice Department originally filed lawsuits against

both Hawaii and Michigan in April 2025, arguing

that allowing these states to sue major energy

producers would threaten domestic energy output.

Just one day after that federal action, Hawaii moved forward anyway, filing suit against fossil fuel giants including BP, Chevron, ExxonMobil, and Shell. The state alleged these corporations knowingly sold products that contributed to global warming despite being aware of the environmental consequences. Judge Gillmor determined that the Justice Department failed to establish legal standing to bring the case. In her written opinion, she noted that the DOJ's attempt to forecast the outcome of a lawsuit that had not yet been fully litigated and speculate on how it might harm the federal government did not constitute a concrete, legally recognized injury.
