1. Project Introduction
IOTA is an open, feeless, and scalable distributed ledger designed for the Internet of Things (IoT). Unlike traditional blockchains, IOTA uses a Directed Acyclic Graph (DAG) architecture called the Tangle, allowing for fee-free microtransactions and high scalability. This architecture enables secure, real-time data and value exchange between machines in an M2M (machine-to-machine) economy.
