Торги токеном стартовали 1 сентября. В течении первых двух часов после запуска WLFI объем торгов достиг $1 млрд, цена токена достигла максимума в $0,46. В этот момент Трампы заработали «на бумаге» $6 млрд.

Семье Трампов, включая самого президента США, принадлежит чуть менее четверти всех существующих токенов WLFI. Трое сыновей Трампа являются соучредителями World Liberty, а глава семьи назван почетным соучредителем. Токены Трампов пока заблокированы и не могут торговаться. На биржу вышла только часть монет, купленных ранними инвесторами в 2024 году по $0,015 и $0,05.

Спустя три дня, к 11:00 мск 4 сентября цена WLFI опустилась до минимума около $0,18. Это на 60% ниже рекорда, по данным CoinMarketCap. И на 18% ниже, чем цена на старте торгов ($0,22). Только за последние сутки WLFI подешевел на 20% — сильнее всех других криптовалют из топ-100 по капитализации.
