August 11, according to The Information, AI startup Trajectory has completed a $40 million funding round at a post-money valuation of $300 million, led by Sequoia Capital with participation from Nvidia and Bessemer. Just two months ago, the company announced a $15 million seed round at a post-money valuation of $115 million. Trajectory was founded in May this year by former Google DeepMind researchers Ronak Malde and Michael Elabd, along with former Apple researcher Arjun Karanam. It focuses on "continuous learning": turning users' corrections, retries, and edits when using AI into training signals, allowing the model to keep improving after deployment. The company aims to automate this process as much as possible. Once enterprises integrate, models, prompts, and harnesses can be continuously adjusted based on real usage data. Currently, Clay, Decagon, and Harvey are already using or testing its technology.
