Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi attended and faced questions from opposition parties. It is reported that the ruling party plans to vote on the legislation in the Senate committee on the same day, with the aim of passing it in the full Senate meeting on the 27th. Previously, the legislation concerning the 'National Intelligence Agency' was passed in the full meeting of the House of Representatives on April 23.
