Presently, BTC sees rejection at Point of Control for the second time, leading to a BTC price falling from $65,000 to $63,000 instead of breaking up to the $67,000 price range. At the same time, altcoin experts are pleased to see Bitcoin Dominance preparing to fall. 

BTC Sees Rejection at Point of Control for the Second Time 

The weekend before the final days of the month of July sees a weekend dip in crypto prices as the price of BTC fell from the $65,000price range to that of the $63,000 price range. This marks a price dip of over 2.5% in the last 24 hours. While the price of Bitcoin struggles to reclaim the $64,000 once again, the crypto community debates the possibilities of a greater dip in the price of BTC. 

As we can see from the post above, this popular crypto expert, analyst, and trader observes how Bitcoin (BTC) got rejected by the Point of Control for the second time. When this happened last, earlier this year in June, it triggered a -13% crash. Thus, the post goes on to suggest that this time BTC could see an even deeper dip. Using this observation, it is likely that if $67,000 is the top for the rest of summer, then the upcoming crash could be similar to the February crash.

With a court set to consider a reversal of a $5 million settlement from the US Commodity Futures Trading Commission’s (CFTC’s) case with cryptocurrency exchange Gemini, the company’s co-founders sent $10 million in Bitcoin (BTC) to a super political action committee (PAC) supporting President Donald Trump.

According to the MAGA Inc. Super PAC’s July report to the Federal Election Commission (FEC) filed on Monday, Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss through the Gemini Trust Company sent two separate contributions of more than $5 million in Bitcoin on June 19. 

The donation, which the PAC may use for independent expenditures to support Trump, was recorded about three weeks after the CFTC filed a joint motion with Gemini in federal court in an attempt to reverse a January 2025 settlement over the company allegedly making false or misleading statements. CFTC Chair Michael Selig claimed at the time that the agency under former US President Joe Biden “politically targeted” the Winklevosses through enforcement actions.

The data shows the Shiba Inu exchange netflow has increased to over 69 billion $SHIB as the amount of $SHIB currently available for sale across all supported exchanges has surged substantially.

With the $SHIB exchange flow sitting at a net balance of 69,237,400,000 $SHIB, it implies that the amount of $SHIB tokens being sent to exchanges for sale over the last day is substantially higher than the amount of tokens removed from the exchanges for buying purposes.

Exchange inflows add another layer of cautionOn-chain spot flow data also reflected a subtle shift after Ethereum recorded a $5.92 million net inflow into exchanges during the latest session.

Positive netflows generally indicate that more $ETH moved onto exchanges than left them, increasing the amount of readily tradable supply.

Although the inflow remained relatively modest, it contrasted with the recent pattern of stronger exchange outflows that had previously limited immediate selling pressure.

Meanwhile, the ETF withdrawal and positive spot netflow pointed in the same direction, showing that fresh supply had started returning to the market.

Even so, the figures remained far below the large exchange inflows that often accompany aggressive selloffs.

Consequently, buyers still retained an opportunity to absorb the additional supply before it significantly altered Ethereum’s broader market structure.
