The three major altcoins are trading near critical support levels, and a breakdown below these zones could trigger deeper losses in the near term.

Technical Setup Points to Weakness
Price charts for XRP, ADA, and SOL reveal a pattern of lower highs and lower lows over the past several trading sessions. This structure typically indicates waning buying pressure and increasing selling momentum. For XRP, the immediate support zone lies near $0.50, a level that has been tested multiple times in recent weeks. A decisive close below this area could open the door to a move toward $0.45 or lower.

Cardano’s ADA is trading in a similar precarious position. The token has been consolidating below the $0.40 mark, and failure to hold above $0.35 could accelerate selling pressure. Solana’s SOL is facing its own test, with the $130 level acting as a key pivot. A breakdown here could see SOL retest the $115 support zone, a level not seen since earlier this year

Bitcoin may be trading above what some investors expected this year, but according to Charles Schwab's Head of Crypto Research, Jim Ferraioli, its "fair value" could actually be closer to $95,000.

Ferraioli said his valuation is based primarily on Bitcoin's mining economics, rather than short-term market sentiment.

"If you were to say what's the fair value for Bitcoin at these levels, I think it's probably about $95,000." He said.

He explained that the most efficient Bitcoin miners currently produce BTC at a cost of around $60,000, while less efficient miners are closer to $95,000. Drawing a comparison with traditional commodity markets, Ferraioli said that producers generally operate on relatively thin margins, making production costs a useful benchmark for estimating fair value.

Notably, the lower mining-cost estimate of around $60,000 represents a potential fundamental support zone. This level also lines up with Bitcoin's 200-week moving average, which has recently been around the $60,000-$62,000 range.

He also clarified that the figure isn't a price target, but rather a valuation based on the economics of Bitcoin production.

Ferraioli pointed out that the crypto market is currently in a seasonally weaker period, often referred to as "Bitcoin winter." However, he added that risk assets have historically performed better toward the end of the year, leaving room for a potential year-end rally if market conditions improve.While

The sharper intraday decline appears to be linked to derivatives positioning rather than any specific Avalanche event. Recent data and reporting highlight:

Crypto derivatives saw over $300 million in liquidations over 24 hours, with around 85–90% coming from long positions in BTC, ETH, and other major cryptocurrencies.²

Some altcoins, including SHIB and AVAX, were seeing outflows in open interest, suggesting traders were closing or being forced out of leveraged positions.³

This mix of long liquidations and open-interest outflows in selected altcoins is typical of a "deleveraging" phase where downside accelerates for smaller, more volatile coins when support levels break.

MSTR: Schiff Predicts Strategy's Bitcoin Yield Will Turn Negative

Peter Schiff believes Strategy's Bitcoin yield model is losing its edge and warns that its yield could turn negative this year.

In a recent social media post, Bitcoin critic Peter Schiff predicted that Strategy's Bitcoin yield will ultimately be negative this year.

This comes after the company's stock price surged as much as 7% earlier today due to increased dollar reserves.

Strategy previously claimed it could raise funds to buy more Bitcoin and increase the amount of Bitcoin backed per share (i.e., the Bitcoin yield). Shareholders were promised that they wouldn't actually need to buy more of this flagship cryptocurrency to increase their Bitcoin exposure.

However, as Schiff points out, the very mechanisms that initially made Strategy attractive are now showing signs of weakness.

Strategy's Bitcoin yield has plummeted from 13.3% to 4.5% in just two months.

"If MSTR's advantage relative to Bitcoin disappears, why take on additional corporate risk? Why not just buy Bitcoin directly?" Schiff said.
