Ad Disclosure A member of the Ripple community has called out Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson for helping derail XRP’s growth through the ETHgate saga. In response, Hoskinson has defended himself, arguing that it is impossible he was involved in the XRP lawsuit. Cardano Founder Accused Of Derailing XRP’s GrowthIn an X post, Ripple community member Wino opined that the Cardano founder was involved in the ETHgate, which negatively impacted XRP’s growth. The ETHgate involves allegations that the U.S. SEC favored Ethereum over XRP by declaring that the former wasn’t a security. XRP and Ethereum were notably ranked as the largest altcoins by market cap at the time, making them direct competitors and fueling speculation that the ETHgate was aimed at bringing XRP down. Meanwhile, in response to claims that he was involved in the ETHgate, the Cardano founder noted that he was “pushed” out of Ethereum in June 2014. He added that since then, they have spent 12 years attacking him. As such, he questioned how it was possible that he decided, years later, to coordinate with them to help Ethereum attack XRP. It is worth noting that the Cardano founder was one of Ethereum’s co-founders but left in June 2014 over differences with Vitalik Buterin and the other co-founders. The report said BSC tested post-quantum transaction signatures with ML-DSA-44 and used pqSTARK for consensus vote aggregation. The report said the migration can work with current BSC systems. It remains compatible with existing addresses, RPCs, SKs, wallets, and transaction flows.

BSC today," but added that data growth and network limits remain the main trade-offs.
The team also said quantum computers are
"not yet at a stage" where they can break current production cryptography in real-world systems. BSC TPS drops as signature size jumps The main problem came from data size. BNB Chain said transaction signatures increased from 65 bytes to 2,420 bytes after moving from ECDSA to ML-DSA-44. The full transaction size rose from 110 bytes to about 2.5 KB. That added load cut performance in testing. The report said block size grew to about 2 MB, while throughput dropped by about 40% to 50% in tests. In cross-region conditions, TPS fell by about 40%, showing that network propagation becomes harder when blocks carry more data. The report said finality stayed at two slots in median cases. The wider gap in slower cases came from larger blocks moving across regions, not from a failure in the consensus design. pq

The Verus Protocol Ethereum bridge has suffered an exploit that has allowed an attacker to siphon off more than $11.5 million in crypto assets through what security researchers described as a forged cross-chain transfer message. Summary Verus Protocol’s Ethereum bridge lost more than $11.5 million after attackers reportedly used a forged cross chain transfer message. Blockchain security firms Blockaid, PeckShield, and ExVul linked the exploit to missing validation checks inside the bridge verification process. According to onchain security platform Blockaid, the exploit was detected late Sunday after its monitoring systems flagged suspicious activity tied to the Verus-Ethereum bridge. Blockaid identified the attacker wallet as “0x5aBb…D5777” and said the stolen funds were initially moved into another address labeled “0x65C…C25F9.” Data shared by blockchain security firm PeckShield showed that the drained assets included 103.6 tBTC, 1,625 ETH, and nearly 147,000 USDC. PeckShield later reported that the attacker swapped the stolen tokens into 5,402 ETH, valued at roughly $11.4 million based on current prices. Hours before the exploit took place, PeckShield said the attacker’s wallet had received 1 ETH through crypto mixer Tornado Cash, a detail that often appears in attacks involving attempts to obscure transaction origins. Further analysis from GoPlus Security indicated that the attacker first sent a low-value transaction to the bridge contract before invoking a function that caused reserve assets to be batch-transferred to the drainer wallet. GoPlus said the exploit was “highly likely” tied to either cross-chain message validation failure, withdrawal logic bypass, or an access control weakness inside the bridge mechanism. I joined the HTX Community quietly at first. Mostly reading, observing, and trying not to ask “stupid” questions. My first trades were small, emotional, and random. Sometimes I bought because everyone else sounded confident. Sometimes I sold too early out of fear.

But somewhere between those small wins, silly mistakes, and late-night market watching, I realized something important: the real value isn’t only in profit — it’s in learning how to think.

Over these past months, I’ve learned how dangerous FOMO can be, why patience matters more than hype, and why protecting your capital is more important than chasing fast gains. I’m still far from being an expert, but I’m no longer the same beginner who entered crypto confused and impatient.

What made the difference for me was being part of a community where people actually share experiences, strategies, and lessons from both wins and losses.

Still learning. Still growing. Still making mistakes sometimes. But this journey already changed the way I see investing.
