Bitcoin Price Prediction: Could BTC Drop to $44,000 Before This Bear Market Ends?Bitcoin is under renewed selling pressure, and one chart analyst says the coming weeks could determine whether this bear market is entering its final stage or has further to fall.

Bitcoin was rejected from resistance earlier this month and has since pulled back. Bitcoin is testing structural support near $63,760 after being rejected in July, with price now approaching a wider zone the analyst is watching closely.

The analyst is watching a support zone between $59,356 and $62,492 very closely, saying a failure to hold that range could signal the next leg lower is already underway.

If that happens, the analyst outlines a more bearish scenario where Bitcoin continues declining toward $44,000, and potentially further. A deeper bearish scenario could push Bitcoin toward $44,000 or even lower still, with a possible target near $39,000 later this year if that path plays out.

The short-term probability favors a flush to $1.07 before bulls even get a seat at t..XRP is doing something veteran traders learn to respect — and fear. At $1.10, the asset has essentially flatlined, its daily range compressed to a coin-flip corridor between $1.09 and $1.11. The Bollinger Bands have tightened to the point where price is drifting in dead center — no directional conviction from either side. Momentum indicators are hovering in no-man's land, with the MACD histogram printing at absolute zero. That isn't bullish indecision. That's a dead pause before something moves hard.

What makes this setup particularly dangerous is the convergence of moving averages stacking directly overhead within a one-cent band. Ethereum ETFs lose $70.7M as BlackRock leads withdrawals – What’s next for ETH?

Ethereum faces growing selling pressure as ETF outflows and exchange inflows challenge its recent recovery.

Ethereum ETF outflows raised fresh concerns over institutional demand after U.S. spot ETFs recorded a $70.7 million net outflow on July 24. 

BlackRock accounted for the largest share of that activity after investors withdrew $52.8 million from its ETH fund. 

The figures interrupted a period of sustained inflows and shifted attention toward whether large investors had started locking in profits. 


However, one trading session rarely defines a broader trend, especially after weeks of consistent institutional accumulation.

The Harsh Reality of New Crypto: Just 7% of Major Tokens Beat Their Launch Price

The firm tracked 113 coins since their token generation event (TGE) price, with only 8 of them now above that price, a median return of -95.7%.

The sample is limited to projects with a market capitalization above $100 million as of July 21, CryptoRank told CryptoPotato.

CryptoRank Study: Eight Exceptions to the Rule

Eight coins included in the survey are in profit, led by $HYPE, $ONDO, EVA, and $NIGHT.

Hyperliquid's $HYPE was up 1,519% from its launch price at the time of the survey's publication on July 21st. Ondo Finance's $ONDO followed at 101.4%, with EverValue Coin (EVA) and Midnight Network ($NIGHT) up a more modest 20.3% and 16.5% respectively.

These figures are revealing, as we can see that even among those that are up, only a small handful showed outsized performance, with six of the eight achieving double-digit increases at best. It's worth noting that $HYPE was also listed in the new S&P Pantera Digital Asset Index, which excluded many high-performing crypto assets, including Bitcoin.

CryptoRank states that sell-offs, thin liquidity, and regulatory uncertainty were the main causes of major drawdowns in these projects, although the market has also observed major crashes due to exploits and other factors in the last two years.

Crypto exchange BitMart to wind down trading platform by January 2027

BitMart will shut down its crypto trading platform through an orderly wind-down process after determining that current operating conditions, market circumstances and its long-term strategy no longer support continuing operations, the company said this week.

In a statement, the exchange said it will gradually stop accepting new users, suspend fiat and crypto deposits, prevent new futures positions and spot orders, and phase out copy trading, grid trading, API trading and other automated services beginning July 26, 2026.
