Along with the blockade, the U.S. Navy has deployed destroyers to the Strait to begin clearing naval mines allegedly laid by Iran to ensure a safe pathway for non-Iranian commercial traffic. Weekend talks between US and Iranian delegations on a ceasefire did not go as planned.

The failure of the talks in Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan, to yield the desired result has once again caused markets to fall. Bitcoin ($BTC), which had risen to $74,000, was rejected once again as the talks ended without a result.

The fact that $BTC has attempted to break through this area three times in the last month clearly indicates that this is a significant resistance level.

Coin Bureau founder Nic Puckrin said the current Bitcoin rally is fragile due to geopolitical and macroeconomic setbacks stemming from the ongoing war in the Middle East.

The analyst, who indicated the earliest possible time for an interest rate cut was the third quarter, said, “Even if the war ends now, its effects will continue throughout 2026. The dominant narrative will definitely be the second quarter. I don’t expect an interest rate cut until the end of the third quarter or the fourth quarter, or even at all.”

The analyst, who identified $71,000 as a critical level in the short term, stated that further increases could occur if this level is maintained. However, the analyst suggests that $74,000 could act as strong resistance for $BTC.

Finally, the analyst believes that higher levels are possible for Bitcoin. He stated that for Bitcoin to rise to $90,000, geopolitical tensions need to ease, oil prices need to fall to the $80 level, and stagflation concerns need to be resolved.

XRP Notes Strongest ETF Week Since February

$XRP has just achieved its biggest ETF inflow as institutional demand appears to have returned after its recent price rally, sparking optimism across the crypto market.

The last 24-hour trading session saw all existing $XRP funds collectively attract about $9 million in new capital. While this appears relatively low, it is the highest daily inflow recorded since Feb. 6, 2026.

$XRP ETFs hit two-month high

According to data from SosoValue, the large single-day inflow, seen on April 10, has driven a stronger weekly report for the $XRP ETF ecosystem.

Following the resurgence in institutional demand for the $XRP-based investment product, $XRP ETFs have recorded $11.75 million in inflows over the past week.

While this resurgence was preceded by multiple weeks of extremely low performance, this inflow saw $XRP record its strongest ETF week since Feb. 6, 2026.

As such, the $XRP ETF market has just achieved a two-month high in inflows following the wave of fresh capital poured into the funds at the end of the week.

The surge in capital intake was mostly fueled by the Bitwise $XRP ETF as it continues to dominate the market with larger inflows, compared to its peers.

Further data revealed that the strong inflow seen during the last trading session was fueled by the $XRP ETFs offered by Bitwise and Franklin Templeton alone. Other funds remained dormant, recording zero ETF flow for the day.
