The 20-day average trading volume was weak in March and early April but has recently begun to climb.

The breakout above the $0.03 psychological resistance level, accompanied by increased trading volume, indicates strong market confidence.

The On-Balance Volume (OBV) has not risen significantly, as the increase in spot trading volume has only recently begun. The current bullish breakout is accompanied by the Relative Strength Index (RSI) surging to 75, entering overbought territory.

This could trigger a short-term pullback, but the overall structure remains bullish. Since December, $0.0169 and $0.031 have been key levels.

Monad achieved a bullish breakout at the daily chart level on February 14. Since then, the altcoin has continued to form higher lows, maintaining an uptrend.

After breaking above $0.0314, the next target will be the supply zone of $0.046–$0.048 just below the all-time high.

The steady uptrend in March means there has been insufficient time for long liquidation positions to accumulate. The nearest liquidity cluster on the downside is at $0.025, with a larger liquidity pool at $0.02–$0.0218.

There is a significant long liquidation vacuum in the range from $0.025 to the current market price of $0.035. Meanwhile, short liquidations up to $0.04 could fuel a short squeeze in the coming days.

A White House economic report is reshaping how policymakers assess stablecoin regulation and its impact on banking liquidity. The Council of Economic Advisers, part of the Executive Office of the President, released an analysis last week examining the GENIUS Act and related proposals. The report evaluates whether banning stablecoin yield meaningfully protects bank lending or alters financial intermediation across U.S. markets.

The analysis directly addresses legislative intent behind both the GENIUS Act and the proposed CLARITY Act. The report explains that policymakers aim to curb stablecoin yield to prevent deposit outflows from banks. It states that such measures are driven by concerns that competitive returns could weaken traditional funding bases. This framing establishes the basis for testing whether those concerns materialize in practice.

The study finds that stablecoin reserves largely circulate back into the banking system rather than exiting it, preserving credit channels. When users convert deposits into stablecoins, issuers typically allocate funds into short-term Treasuries, which then re-enter banks through dealer deposits. The bitcoin market has faced familiar problem since prices rose above $70,000 last week: a sharp rise in profit-taking.

More than $20 million worth of BTC has been sold per hour in profit realization, according to blockchain analytics firm Glassnode.

"Every approach to the $70k–$ 80k band faces thin liquidity and profit-taking pressure, capping the bounce. Another bounce to >$70k range was exhausted by >$20M/Hour profit realization," Glassnode said on X.

The message is clear: the $70,000–$80,000 band is less a battleground of conviction and more a persistent distribution zone, as has been observed since February.

In other words, rallies above $70,000 are consistently turning into liquidity events. Instead of buyers chasing momentum higher, holders are using strength as an exit window and the result is a market where every uptick is met with an immediate counterweight of supply.

Bitcoin is struggling to build momentum above $70,000. Prices briefly touched nearly $74,000 on Saturday before slipping back below $71,000 at the time of writing, as the breakdown in Islamabad peace talks between the U.S. and Iran pushed oil higher and weighed on U.S. stock futures.

Until that $20 million-per-hour pressure eases, bitcoin’s ceiling isn’t technical, but behavioral.
