$XRP is back in the spotlight as market analyst Crypto Patel points to what he calls a massive 8-year breakout retest playing out on the charts.

The setup suggests $XRP is revisiting a long-term structural level that has previously acted as a springboard in past cycles. If momentum holds, Crypto Patel believes the move could extend toward the $10 range over the long term.

The broader technical picture points to accumulation rather than stagnation. Patel argues that $XRP is consolidating within a long-standing multi-year support zone that has consistently absorbed heavy selling pressure.

In past market cycles, similar structures have often come before strong upside expansions, fueling growing speculation that a larger trend reversal could be quietly forming beneath the surface.

Adding to the bullish narrative, $XRP is also being floated in long-term discussions around a potential 2,000% upside.

On the charts, EigenCloud [EIGEN] rallied from $0.15 to $0.187 in three days, a 24% move. That recovery hinted that the unlock-related selling pressure may have faded.

For nearly two weeks, the price moved sideways, forming an inverted head-and-shoulders pattern. The breakout above the neckline triggered the surge.

Even so, the pace now looks slower.

A pullback toward the neckline near $0.17 remains possible. That level also aligns with the 50% Fibonacci Retracement.


The Chaikin Money Flow (CMF), whose reading was 0.22, suggested consistent capital inflow. The MACD confirmed the capital came from buyers, as the green histogram bars were expanding.

Therefore, in case of continuation, the next target is set at $0.20, which, if broken, would shift the market structure to be bullish on the daily chart.

Ethereum security program flags DPRK-linked actors, recovers $5.8M


An Ethereum-backed security initiative has reported recovering or freezing more than $5.8 million in funds. Also, it identified around 100 suspected North Korean [DPRK] operatives embedded across Web3 projects.

The figures come from the six-month $ETH Rangers Program, launched by the Ethereum Foundation in partnership with industry groups. Also, the program funded independent security research and incident response across the ecosystem.

Program surfaces vulnerabilities and active threats

According to the report, participants in the program identified or cataloged more than 785 vulnerabilities, client bugs, and proof-of-concept exploits during the initiative.

The work also included over 36 incident responses, as well as the development of open-source security tools and research frameworks to improve threat detection and mitigation across Ethereum-based applications.

These efforts contributed to direct fund recovery in several cases, including coordinated responses to active exploits, during which assets were traced and frozen.

DPRK-linked infiltration emerges as key concern

One of the more significant findings involved the identification of approximately 100 suspected DPRK-linked IT workers operating within blockchain projects under false identities.

Researchers involved in the program said they engaged with dozens of teams to flag potential infiltrations, with some cases leading to the freezing of funds linked to these actors.

The findings highlight a growing concern within the crypto industry around state-linked threat groups targeting Web3 firms through employment channels, rather than traditional attack vectors alone.
