The Nasdaq Composite Index has recorded its longest winning streak in over 15 years, and tech ETFs have hit weekly highs. However, according to Michael Hartnett, chief investment strategist at Bank of America, this rapid rebound that has excited investors may be turning into a costly "bull trap."

The Nasdaq Composite has recently risen for 13 consecutive trading days, its longest winning streak since July 2009; the tech ETF XLK closed at a new weekly high, above $153. However, the financial ETF XLF failed to hold its 200-day moving average, and its divergence from the tech sector poses a potential warning sign. In Hartnett's view, this rebound, driven by record cash outflows, is evolving from an "oversold correction" into a dangerous zone that could trap bulls.


Regarding fund flows, a record $172.2 billion flowed out of cash last week, with $11.3 billion flowing into the stock market, $7.9 billion into bonds, and gold and cryptocurrencies each receiving approximately $1.2 billion in net inflows.

 Meanwhile, Bank of America's April global fund manager survey showed that institutional pessimism was at its highest level since June 2025; however, actual capital flows were quite the opposite—global equity inflows are expected to exceed $1 trillion in 2026, potentially setting a new record.

Regarding this contradiction, Hartnett offered a rather sharp assessment: "Look at what they do, not what they say." Short sellers worry that inflation has not yet peaked, and the bond market faces a new round of sell-off risk; long sellers are betting that earnings will support record highs. But Hartnett's overall conclusion is clear: the current market has entered a "bull trap" zone.

In February, the same measure was passed again and vetoed by President Narcowski, citing the same reasons as before. In an attempt to bypass the President’s assent, the lawmakers held a vote on Friday, with 191 members of parliament voting in favor of the veto and 243 dissenting. Ultimately, this result fell short of the constitutionally required 263 votes to override the President’s veto in Poland. Over the past few months, Vibe Coding and OpenClaw have been the main themes in the narrative of modeling companies. Users have seen constantly updated model rankings, while enterprise clients have heard about an "efficiency revolution" in the AI ​​era.

However, in the workflow of real internet products, some things remain unchanged: creating a single-page fundraising presentation still requires a designer; creating a product prototype still requires meetings with PMs, designers, and front-end developers; and turning an idea into a visually presentable solution still relies on traditional product development processes.

Anthropic is now targeting this gap.

 Claude Design, officially positioned as a research preview product from Anthropic Labs, is built on Anthropic's visual model, Claude Opus 4.7. Currently, it's available as a research preview to Claude Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise subscribers, with access being rolled out in batches starting yesterday.

It allows users to directly generate visual content such as design drafts, prototypes, slideshows, and single-page pages using natural language, supporting subsequent modifications, export, and submission to Claude Code for further development.

The official description states: Users only need to describe their ideas, and Claude will create an initial version, then iterate through dialogue, annotations, direct editing, and slider adjustments.
