A crypto market crash is underway today, with Bitcoin and popular altcoins being in the red. Bitcoin price dropped to $76,000 from last week's high of $77,000. Some of the top laggards in the industry were altcoins like RaveDAO, MemeCore, LayerZero, Aave, and Siren.

RaveDAO price crashed by over 95% in the last 24 hours, while the other four were down by over 10% in the same period. As a result, the market capitalization of all tokens dropped by 2.5% to $2.58 trillion.

$XRP exchange-traded products have recorded their strongest weekly inflows of the year.

The increase comes after renewed interest from both retail and institutional investors across the broader crypto market.

Data from SoSoValue showed that $XRP ETFs attracted $55.39 million in net inflows over the past week. This marks the first time in 2026 that inflows have reached this level after several weeks of weaker performance.

The exploit was executed via a call to the “Iz Receive” function on LayerZero’s EndpointV2, which ultimately triggered the release of funds to an attacker-controlled wallet. On-chain sleuth ZachXBT was among the first to uncover the breach, estimating losses exceeding $280 million across Ethereum and Arbitrum. The blockchain investigator also noted that the attack addresses had been initially funded via Tornado Cash, indicating a deliberate effort to conceal the funding sources for the highly coordinated attack.
