Virginia voters approved a new Democratic-backed congressional map on Tuesday, a decision that could significantly reshape the balance of power in the U.S. House of Representatives ahead of the upcoming midterm elections. According to projections, the redistricting plan may flip up to four Republican-held seats, weakening the GOP's already narrow majority and strengthening Democratic prospects nationwide. The vote marks a key moment in an ongoing nationwide redistricting battle that intensified after President Donald Trump encouraged Texas Republicans to redraw district lines to target Democratic incumbents. While that effort initially gave Republicans an advantage, Democrats have now countered with strategic moves in states like Virginia, effectively neutralizing those gains. The newly approved map is expected to give Democrats control of 10 out of Virginia's 11 congressional seats, a notable shift from the current 6-5 split. This development could play a crucial role in determining control of the 435-seat House, where Democrats need to gain just three seats to reclaim the majority. On the charts, SPX6900 price had been bullish since the month started, with market structure creating higher highs and lows. However, this uptrend was overturned at $0.38, with sellers pushing the price down to $0.30.

The correction ended at $0.30, with a break above the neckline of the inverted head-and-shoulders at $0.34. As of press time, the memecoin was approaching the resistance level at $0.38, having recovered more than 90% from the correction.

In support of this uptrend was the On-Balance Volume (OBV) at 371 million, which was rising over the past two days. Moreover, the MACD bars were growing following the signal lines' crossover.

Ether ETFs gained $67.77 million for an eighth straight day of inflows, despite outflows from Grayscale’s ETHE.

XRP added $3 million and Solana $3.28 million, signaling broader ETF momentum across board.

Momentum carried straight into the new week. No hesitation. No pause. Crypto exchange-traded funds (ETFs) opened Monday, April 20, with another coordinated push higher, extending a streak that is beginning to look less like a rebound and more like a trend. Five straight days of gains for all crypto ETFs now define the tone, led once again by bitcoin.

Bitcoin ETFs recorded $238.37 million in net inflows, marking a fifth consecutive day of positive flows. The structure of those inflows, however, tells a familiar story.

Blackrock’s IBIT dominated, pulling in $256.05 million and more than offsetting outflows elsewhere. Morgan Stanley’s MSBT added $8.10 million, continuing its steady early run, while Valkyrie’s BRRR contributed $5.81 million.

There were pockets of selling. Grayscale’s GBTC saw $24.94 million in outflows, and Fidelity’s FBTC lost $6.65 million. Still, the imbalance was clear. Demand remains concentrated but decisive. Trading volume reached $2.18 billion, with net assets closing at $100.33 billion.

Ether ETFs extended their own streak, logging an eighth consecutive day of inflows with $67.77 million added. The path, however, was not entirely smooth. Blackrock’s ETHA led with $76.05 million, while ETHB added $13.19 million, reinforcing its growing role as a steady inflow vehicle. Invesco’s QETH contributed a smaller $1.16 million.

Outflows persisted in legacy products. Grayscale’s ETHE saw $17.05 million exit, its Ether Mini Trust lost $4.43 million, and Fidelity’s FETH recorded a $1.16 million outflow. Even so, the inflows held fir
