Additionally, the crypto market rally in the past week has also benefited HOOD, leading it to outperform the rest of the S&P 500 index.The removal of the pattern day trader rule dramatically lowers barriers to active trading for everyday investors, and Robinhood is the clearest beneficiary. Its entire brand is built around democratizing finance, and a rule that locked out anyone without $25,000 in their account was a direct obstacle to that mission. Hence, the bulls are out for Robinhood stock, and its 30% climb could continue into next week.Additionally, the numbers backing Robinhood’s business are already strong heading into this regulatory shift. Full-year 2025 revenue hit a record $4.47 billion, and Gold subscribers grew 58% year over year to 4.2 million. Stripe doubles down on blockchain and stablecoins, aiming to become 'AWS for money'


Global payments giant Stripe is building what it calls the "AWS for money," and crypto tech is at the center of that plan.

Speaking at the RWA Summit in Cannes, France, Adrien Duchâteau, Stripe's head of crypto go-to-market, said the company is now integrating stablecoins and blockchain across its core payment stack as it looks to modernize how money moves globally.

"We’re putting product by product more of our stack onchain," he said.

The move builds on the firm's long, if uneven, history with crypto. Stripe was one of the earliest major tech companies to embrace bitcoin , enabling BTC payments as early as 2014 before pulling back in 2018 as volatility made it impractical for merchants, Duchâteau said. The company returned in 2021 with a dedicated crypto team, betting that the underlying technology had matured enough to support real-world use, he added.

Speeding up payments with stablecoins

The company's blockchain ambition focuses on fixing a core problem: global payments remain slow and expensive. Cross-border transfers, Duchâteau explained, still rely on systems like SWIFT, which can take days to settle. For platforms paying creators or contractors, that delay often dictates payout schedules.

Stripe processes nearly $2 trillion in annual payments — roughly 2% of the global GDP — and serves over 5 million businesses around the globe, so even incremental improvements to settlement could have wide-reaching effects, he said.

"We’re operating in T+3 networks," he said, meaning that a transaction often takes three days from the moment of payment to settlement. "If you reduce that to zero, that is a magnitude of change."

Polkadot recovers 17% after Hyperbridge exploit: Will DOT’s gains continue?

 The Hyperbridge exploit caused Polkadot [$DOT] to lose a significant portion of its market cap, but it has since fully recovered.

 The altcoin’s price crashed after a hacker minted 1 billion $DOT tokens on Ethereum [$ETH] but only sold them for $237K due to lack of liquidity.  The team clarified that the actual loss had ballooned to $2.5 million as the team made efforts to recover the funds.

 However, the assurance that Polkadot’s core network security remained intact fueled a 17% price recovery.

 What drove $DOT’s price recovery?

 A statement released by the team after the exploit assured users of security, as the core network had not been affected.  It’s the bridged $DOT tokens on Ethereum.

 As a result, the community sentiment returned to 82% bullish from 954.1K voters, as per CoinMarketCap.  Consequently, the price of the altcoin rallied from $1.146 to $1.354.

 The relief brought about a rebound in network activity.  As per Artemis data, the number of transactions increased by 1,400, from 10.5K to 11.9K, in just one day.

 Additionally, daily active users (DAU) increased by 1.67x even though the figures remained relatively low.  DAU rose from 3,000 to 5,000, indicating users were gradually returning to the network.

 The Total Value Locked (TVL) also experienced a surge of about 11.29% in a day, while the stablecoin market cap grew to $77.83 million after the massive drop.

 Moreover, the altcoin commanded a significant amount of daily trading volume of about $403 million.  However, the revenue of the network remained low as it attempted to get back on its feet.
