Sellers repeatedly defended the $1.40 to $1.42 zone, which aligns with Fibonacci resistance and horizontal supply. Besides, compressed exponential moving averages slope slightly downward, signaling limited bullish momentum. Volatility indicators also show contraction, which often precedes expansion.

If bulls push the price above $1.423 with strong volume, upside targets sit near $1.445 and $1.49. However, failure to hold $1.323 could expose $1.30 and possibly the $1.27 swing low. Therefore, traders treat the current range as a decision zone.

Crypto Mining Companies Are Giving Successive Bitcoin Sell Signals! Here Are the Detail

MARA Holdings, one of the largest publicly traded Bitcoin miners in the US, has made a significant change to its treasury policy for 2026.

According to the company’s 10-K report submitted to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), MARA has gained the flexibility to sell its Bitcoin ($BTC) reserves held on its balance sheet when necessary.

This step represents a significant departure from the company’s past strategy of “holding the Bitcoins it produces as a long-term investment.”

MARA implemented a strategy change in the second half of 2025, allowing the sale of Bitcoin generated from operations, and approved the inclusion of balance sheet assets in the sale scope starting in 2026. The company stated that it may buy and sell Bitcoin from time to time depending on market conditions and capital allocation priorities.

As of December 31, 2025, MARA holds a total of 53,822 $BTC. Approximately 28% of these assets are managed within the framework of an active digital asset management strategy.

9,377 $BTC were lent to counterparties, while 5,938 $BTC were used as collateral for a $350 million loan. $32.1 million in interest income was earned from the lent Bitcoins.

However, the company also experienced a significant decline in value in 2025. Due to the drop in Bitcoin prices, the fair value of its assets decreased by $422.2 million. Furthermore, the 2,000 $BTC account managed at Two Prime recorded a net loss of $22.1 million.

MARA produced 8,799 $BTC in 2025, a 7% decrease compared to the previous year. This decline was attributed to the halving in April 2024 and the increased network difficulty.

Bitfinex Securities announced Monday it will resume issuing tokenizedbonds for Luxembourg-based securitization fund ALTERNATIVE, with future sales expected to exceed $10 million. The bonds are denominated in USDT and will be issued and settled on the Liquid Network, a Bitcoin sidechain, with fundraising, coupon payments, and principal repayments all executed on-chain.

The relaunch follows four prior bond issuances since 2023 that raised a combined $6.2 million. Three of those offerings have since matured and been fully repaid. Across the completed cycle, investors received 20 on-chain coupon payments totaling more than $1.1 million, according to the companies involved. The bonds provide exposure to emerging-market privatecredit, including financing for small and medium-sized businesses and women-led enterprises.

Jesse Knutson, head of operations at Bitfinex, said that buyers have primarily been high-net-worth crypto investors and crypto-focused institutions from Europe and Asia seeking yield on their $USDT holdings. "There's been a lot of discussion this year around yield-generating stablecoins. This product offers a solution with an easy, regulated and established vehicle for earning yield on $USDT balances," Knutson said.

Bitfinex Securities holds operating licenses in the Astana International Financial Centre in Kazakhstan and in El Salvador. The platform manages issuance, listing, and secondary trading, while Tether's Hadron platform handles token management. The platform currently lists approximately $250 million in regulated tokenized securities.
