Ethereum price is sitting directly on its 100-day EMA, a level that, even by any prediction standards, has separated bull continuations from deeper corrections. One clean daily close decides the next move. The divergence between smart money positioning and whale behavior makes this setup unusually tense.
The Smart Money Index crossed above zero in early April and has climbed steadily since, displaying that informed traders are positioned long. Against that, Santiment data shows whale holdings dropped 170,000 ETH in 24 hours, or around $400 million in trimmed exposure.

Meanwhile, regulatory momentum around spot ETH ETF approvals has provided modest structural support, lifting ETH modestly on the news. But now, the market sits in a wait-and-see mode.

#Crypto has spent years acting like attention and activity are basically the same thing. If traffic surges, the market must be alive. If specialist media cools off, the assumption is that interest is cooling off too. It is an easy habit to fall into, especially in an industry that grew up on narratives, cycles, and headlines. Still, 2025 made that habit much harder to defend. A recent Outset Data Pulse report shows a market that kept buzzing even as traffic to crypto-native media moved the other way. The more interesting part is not just that crypto media weakened. It is that the largest crypto audience was still sitting outside crypto-native media altogether. Mainstream Media Held The Real Scale Looking at traffic across 349 outlets tracked through the recently launched Outset Media Index (OMI), the report found that crypto-native media still pulled in more than one billion visits across 2025, which sounds big until you look at how the year actually unfolded. Traffic started at around 106 million visits in January and ended the year at just under 71 million in December. That’s a drop of a bit more than 33%. There were a few moments when things bounced, especially in July, but those bumps were minor. By the time the year was closing out, crypto-native media was clearly drawing less attention than it had at the start. What makes it even more telling is that the audience was still spread all over the place. This was never a market held up by just two or three giant brands. The top ten outlets together made up only about a quarter of total crypto-native traffic, while the long tail, smaller publications most people barely mention in broad media conversations, still carried most of the audience. This was a story about how thinly spread crypto media still is, even when the overall pool gets smaller. Then comes the part that really changes how this story is read. Bitcoin Price Analysis: Here’s Why the Next Few Days Will Be Crucial for BTC



Bitcoin is trading around $74.7k, holding near its highest levels since the February breakdown, as the recovery momentum built over the past two weeks continues to develop.

The move is encouraging, but $BTC now stands at one of the most technically important junctures of the entire correction, near the confluence of the descending channel’s upper boundary and the 100-day moving average, two levels that have defined the bearish structure for months.

Bitcoin Price Analysis: The Daily Chart

For the first time in this correction cycle, $BTC appears to be pressing a genuine breakout attempt above the descending channel, with the price now breaking above the upper boundary near $74k–$75k alongside the declining 100-day MA nearby. The RSI has also climbed into the high-60s, which is the strongest daily momentum reading since before the February crash, and is lending some credibility to the attempt, while also not showing overbought signals.

Whether this becomes a confirmed breakout or another failed one depends on how the price behaves over the next few daily closes. A sustained close above the channel and the $75k–$80k resistance band would be a structural shift of real significance, and would open a path toward $88k–$90k, where the 200-day MA awaits. On the downside, $60k–$62k is the key support that buyers should defend at all costs if the breakout fails.

On the 4-hour chart, $BTC continues to trade inside the mildly ascending channel that has been in place since the February lows. The price has now risen above the midline and is attempting to break above the $74-$76k resistance zone. Tempo Unveils 'Zones' for Private Enterprise Stablecoin Transactions

Tempo, the payments-focused Layer 1 blockchain, on Wednesday introduced Tempo Zones, a new feature that lets enterprises run private stablecoin transactions on parallel blockchains connected to Tempo's mainnet.

The product targets a core friction point for institutions exploring stablecoin rails: public blockchains broadcast every transaction by default. A company processing payroll, for example, would expose individual salary data on-chain, while a payment processor would leak confidential merchant volume with every settlement.

"The parties to a transaction should see the details, the broad public should not, all while retaining the usability and interoperability of stablecoin rails," the Tempo team wrote in a blog post.

Zones serve as private execution environments where participants can transact without publicly revealing information. Assets remain interoperable with Tempo's mainnet, meaning users inside a Zone can still access on-ramps, off-ramps, and decentralized exchange liquidity on the base layer.

The Zone operator, which can be the enterprise itself or a third-party infrastructure provider, has visibility into all transactions within its Zone for compliance and reporting purposes, but does not have custody of funds. Assets are locked in a smart contract on Tempo's mainnet and can only be withdrawn by the owning user.

Tempo said enterprises managing payroll are among the first users of Zones, with broader production deployments planned in phases. The company is currently working with design partners across payroll, treasury, settlement, and tokenized deposit use cases.
