Claim1,200 USDT in the Monthly Creation Challenge

A massive exploit of KelpDAO's rsETH token led an attacker to drain about $292 million in value, primarily by depositing unbacked tokens into Aave and borrowing real assets against them.

In the 24 hours after the hack, whales rapidly pulled more than $6 billion from Aave, pushing major pools like ETH, USDT and USDC to 100% utilization and effectively trapping remaining depositors' funds.

Stranded users then borrowed roughly $300 million against their own locked stablecoin deposits at steep losses, underscoring how a single DeFi exploit can freeze liquidity across multiple markets even when core protocol code remains intact.

The List of the Top 15 Most Searched Altcoins in Recent Hours Has Been Revealed!


The cryptocurrency data platform CoinGecko has published its list of the digital assets that have attracted the most user interest in recent hours. Based on search data from the last three hours, the list reveals which altcoins are drawing investor attention in the markets, with high volatility being particularly noteworthy.

RaveDAO ($RAVE), which topped the list, stood out with its sharp decline in value over the last 24 hours; while Aave ($AAVE), in second place, and Asteroid Shiba ($ASTEROID), in third place, caught the attention of investors with their differing price movements.

According to CoinGecko data, the most searched cryptocurrencies and their market capitalization are ranked as follows:

RaveDAO ($RAVE) – $279 million

Tether joins $8 million strategic funding round in RWA firm Kaio
Kaio said it raised $8 million in a strategic round with Tether and Systemic Ventures participating. 

The company has a yield-bearing token that gives exposure to real-world assets.
Kaio, a real-world asset firm that gives users exposure to "bluechip funds," said Monday it has raised $8 million in a fresh strategic round.

Tether, the world's largest stablecoin issuer, and Systemic Ventures participated in the round. Kaio said in blog post it has raised a total of $19 million and its backers include Further, Brevan Howard and Karatage.

"The capital will accelerate Kaio’s onchain fund distribution infrastructure and expansion across asset classes," the firm added.

Tokenizing real-world assets like real estate, money market funds and equities is a means of bridging traditional finance and crypto, giving investors access to familiar assets without having to move their funds off-chain.

In February, Kaio opened a waitlist for its Kash coin, "a yield-bearing token" that gives holders exposure to "a diversified basket of bluechip funds sourced from leading global asset managers including BlackRock, Hamilton Lane, and Laser Digital," according to a post. Kaio said it also has a new product from Mubadala Capital in the pipeline.

"Kaio’s unique position unlocks new pathways for capital formation and investment by bringing institutional-grade assets on-chain and making them more broadly accessible, helping expand participation in global financial markets," Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino said in Kaio's statement.

It was also revealed Monday that Tether took a nearly 2 million-share stake in Bitmain-linked Antalpha, stemming from its 2025 IPO allocation.

According to Kaio's website, it has $108.5 million in assets under management. The company is based in the United Arab Emirates.

Activity shifts quickly into leveraged markets, with Perpetual Volume rising to $34.74 billion, far above the $14.29 billion Spot Volume, which shows traders prefer speed over stability.

However, Open Interest (OI) fell to around $31.18 billion, down 5.75%, which suggests traders are not building sustained positions but rotating exposure.

Consequently, Funding Rates turned slightly negative, reflecting growing short pressure even as price held. This creates a mixed structure, where some traders position for downside while others chase short-term moves.

As a result, price becomes more reactive rather than stable, implying that users face faster swings, where gains can reverse quickly without strong spot demand to support them.
