The Worldcoin (WLD) price has been gaining fresh momentum after climbing over 6% in the past 24 hours, reaching $0.63. The token is now approaching a key breakout zone after forming a golden cross on the daily chart, a signal often associated with the start of stronger upside moves. At the same time, rising open interest and a wave of short liquidations suggest traders are positioning aggressively, raising the question of whether WLD has enough momentum to reclaim the $1 mark.

Worldcoin’s Golden Cross Signals a Shift in Momentum
The Worldcoin price has been maintaining consecutive higher highs and lows since the rebound from the lows around $0.23. The recent rally has pushed the token above its short-term moving averages, forming a golden cross that points to strengthening bullish momentum. The 50/200-day is heading for a bullish crossover, often seen as an early sign of a trend reversal after a prolonged downtrend.

This move becomes more important as WLD continues to hold above the $0.60 support zone while attempting to build higher highs. The structure suggests buyers are gradually regaining control, with the immediate resistance now sitting near $0.66. A clean break above this level could open the path toward the next major target near $1.02.

Momentum indicators also support this view, with RSI holding above neutral and maintaining an upward slope, showing that buying strength remains active without yet reaching extreme, overheated levels.

Short Liquidations Are Fueling the Rally
Derivative data shows that recent upside in WLD has been accompanied by a sharp rise in short liquidations, suggesting bearish traders have been forced to close positions as price has moved higher. This type of forced buying often accelerates rallies, especially when resistance levels begin to break.

Axie Infinity [$AXS] surrendered a large portion of its recent advance after sellers stepped in near the $1.25 area and pushed the token lower.

The asset traded at $1.03 at press time, reflecting a 12.3% decline over the last 24 hours. Despite the retracement, market activity intensified rather than faded.

Trading volume climbed 67.3% to $71.34 million, indicating that participants remained highly engaged during the correction.

Earlier, $AXS delivered a sharp breakout move that attracted fresh interest across the market. However, the latest decline suggested that many traders secured profits following the rapid rise.

Even so, elevated volume showed that buyers and sellers continued battling for control, keeping $AXS among the more actively traded assets in the market.

Are spot buyers absorbing the selling pressure?

Spot market participants continued showing interest despite the recent decline.

According to CryptoQuant analytics, the Spot Taker CVD remained buyer-dominant, revealing that market buy orders continued to outweigh sell orders across the observed period. The trend suggested buyers had not fully stepped away even as the token corrected from its local high.

While price moved lower, spot demand remained relatively firm, creating an interesting divergence between market activity and price action.

Such conditions often reflect accumulation behavior rather than widespread capitulation.

Nevertheless, buyers still faced the challenge of absorbing supply from traders who secured profits during the rally.

If spot demand continues strengthening, $AXS could stabilize above current levels.

Otherwise, persistent selling pressure could delay any meaningful recovery attempt over the near term

Rabobank strategists have highlighted that growing policy divergence between the European Central Bank (ECB) and the Federal Reserve is providing a supportive backdrop for the euro against the US dollar. In a note released this week, the Dutch bank pointed to differing monetary policy trajectories as a key factor that could keep EUR/USD buoyed in the near term, despite lingering headwinds from global trade uncertainties and a sluggish eurozone economy.

Policy Divergence as a Key Driver

The ECB has maintained a relatively hawkish stance compared to the Fed, which has begun signaling potential rate cuts amid easing US inflation and a softening labor market. Rabobank analysts argue that this divergence in interest rate expectations is a structural positive for the euro. While the Fed is expected to lower borrowing costs later this year, the ECB is seen holding rates steady for longer, making euro-denominated assets more attractive to yield-seeking investors.

This dynamic has already been reflected in currency markets, with the euro trading near multi-month highs against the dollar. The EUR/USD pair has rallied approximately 3% since the start of the year, breaking above the 1.10 level in recent sessions. Rabobank notes that further gains are possible if the Fed delivers a more dovish pivot than currently priced in.

Caution Remains on Trade and Growth Risks

Despite the supportive policy backdrop, Rabobank cautions that the euro’s upside may be capped by persistent risks.
