Iran: Distrust of the U.S. and Preparing for All Scenarios

On June 20, Ibrahim Rezaei, spokesperson for the Iranian Parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, stated in a recent interview that the ceasefire issue in Lebanon is a red line for Iran, and the country will not back down on related matters. Regarding Iran-U.S. relations, Rezaei expressed that Iran does not trust the United States and will not normalize relations with it. He emphasized that Iran and the U.S. are currently in a hostile state, and Iran is preparing for the possibility of another war, stating, 'We do not believe what the Americans say, but act based on our own considerations.'
