AAVE’s token fair value could rise to $175 in one year,’ predicts Grayscale
In a recent development, Grayscale Research thinks that Aave [AAVE] might be undervalued right now. According to Grayscale Research’s conventional discounted cash flow (DCF) analysis, the token is worth its current value.

Grayscale believes the protocol will make about $60 million in 2026, despite recent challenges in the larger cryptocurrency space.

The asset manager also believes that fintech multiples of 20x-25x would push a current fair value market cap of $1.2 billion to $1.5 billion, or a token price of about $80 to $100 as comapred to $75 at press time. 

Grayscale added,

In a base case scenario in which regulatory clarity accelerates adoption of tokenized assets, we believe AAVE token fair value could rise to ~$175 in one year.
Nevertheless, despite its clear tokenomics and dominance over several crypto cycles, Aave is not impervious to wider ecosystem threats. Although not a direct attack on Aave, the Kelp DAO rsETH exploit in April 2026 caused downstream market disruption that decreased protocol activity.

Although the situation was promptly resolved and the funds remained safe, the effects are still felt. Currently, token buybacks are on hold while the governance review is conducted and the total value locked (TVL) is significantly reduced from $45 billion in 2025 to $13.043 billion at the time of publishing.

$ENA has climbed more than 26% over the past week and is now testing the upper boundary of a multi-month falling wedge pattern that analysts say could open the door to substantially higher prices if a breakout is confirmed.

According to CoinGecko data, Ethena's native token traded near $0.0775 on June 13 before advancing to around $0.094 by June 18.

The move has pushed $ENA close to a key resistance area between $0.095 and $0.10, a zone that also coincides with the descending trendline that has capped price advances for months.

Recent buying interest emerged shortly after Securitize announced on June 12 that its Tokenized AAA Collateralised Loan Obligation Fund, known as STAC, would expand onto the Solana blockchain.

Technical Structure Signals Continued Pressure

Recent price action shows O retreating from a local peak near $0.75 before settling around the $0.50 region. The token currently trades beneath its key exponential moving averages, including the 20, 50, 100, and 200 EMA levels. This setup continues to favor sellers in the near term.

Additionally, the Supertrend indicator remains bearish, reinforcing downside momentum. Analysts view the $0.53 area as the first significant barrier for any recovery attempt.
