Bitcoin led the charge with inflows of $10.06 million, maintaining its position as the top choice for institutional investors. Ethereum followed closely with $9.59 million, continuing its steady rise in demand as interest in smart contract platforms grows.

Among altcoins, XRP stood out with $5.30 million in inflows, signaling strong investor interest. This performance highlights XRP’s growing relevance in ETF markets, especially as regulatory clarity improves in several regions.

Solana, while still positive, recorded a smaller inflow of $245.86K. Although modest compared to others, it still reflects steady interest in high-performance blockchain networks. The difference in inflows suggests that investors are currently favoring more established or widely adopted assets.

Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP Drop Up To 3%, But Data Says Sentiment Is 'Healthy'

Bitcoin (CRYPTO: BTC), Ethereum (CRYPTO: ETH) and XRP (CRYPTO: XRP) sentiment is improving after the U.S.-Iran agreement eased geopolitical fears, though traders remain cautious after months of volatility.
Santiment Intelligence said on X on June 17 that sentiment across crypto's three largest communities has moved out of recent fear zones following the reduction in geopolitical uncertainty.

The crypto intelligence platform said bullish-to-bearish commentary now stands at 1.52 bullish posts for every bearish post on BTC, 1.40 for ETH and 1.65 for XRP.

These readings are termed "healthy" noting that optimism has improved compared with the beginning of June.

The firm said investors are becoming more comfortable taking on risk as prices stabilize across equities, commodities and cryptocurrencies.

Santiment noted that none of the major crypto assets are showing signs of excessive greed.

Retail traders remain cautious after months of volatility, regulatory uncertainty and geopolitical tension.

That could be constructive for bulls. "The crowd is becoming more optimistic, but not enough to suggest widespread FOMO," Santiment noted.

IT Tech, an analyst from the cryptocurrency analysis platform CryptoQuant, published a noteworthy assessment of the altcoin market. Analyst IT Tech emphasized that this indicator is critical for understanding investor behavior. According to them, a large portion of investors trading in the altcoin market have been net sellers for a long time. This could indicate a shift of capital towards Bitcoin, which is perceived as safer, or traditional financial instruments.

Although data showed that the difference between buying and selling volumes in altcoins was almost balanced in early 2025, this improvement was not permanent. In the following months, the indicator turned sharply negative again and continued its downward trend. Thus, selling pressure in the altcoin market accelerated again.

Experts note that the current situation reveals investors are acting more cautiously towards risky assets. However, some market observers point out that oversold levels have historically been a harbinger of long-term recoveries. Nevertheless, it is assessed that in the short term, the direction of the
