While he makes it clear that this is not financial advice, his goal is to examine the numbers side-by-side and decipher which asset appears to have the better upside from current valuations.

$XRP at $10 vs SpaceX at $15 Trillion, What the Math Says
At the time of the analysis, $XRP was valued at roughly $70–77 billion, while SpaceX was valued at around $1.75 trillion following its IPO. Analyst compares the two investments based on the returns they could generate from current levels.

According to him, a move to $10 per $XRP would push its market cap to around $620 billion, delivering roughly a 9x return for investors. For SpaceX to offer the same return, its valuation would need to grow to nearly $15 trillion.

While $XRP would need to add about $550 billion in market value to reach that target, he argues this is not impossible. Bitcoin and Ethereum have both reached similar valuations in previous market cycles. He notes that many investors once doubted $XRP could even surpass a $150 billion or $180 billion market cap, yet it eventually did.

For that reason, he believes $XRP reaching a $600 billion-plus valuation appears more achievable than SpaceX growing into a $15 trillion company, making $XRP the more compelling opportunity from an ROI perspective.

Rabobank’s forex strategy team points to the delicate balance of EU-China economic relations as a primary factor influencing the euro’s valuation. With the European Commission having recently concluded anti-subsidy investigations into Chinese electric vehicles, and Beijing retaliating with probes into European brandy and pork imports, the risk of a tit-for-tat escalation is rising. Analysts note that a full-blown trade dispute would weigh heavily on the euro, given the EU’s export exposure to the Chinese market, which accounted for roughly €223 billion in goods in 2023.

The timing is critical. The euro has already been under pressure from a strengthening US dollar and a cautious European Central Bank. Any further deterioration in EU-China commercial ties could accelerate capital outflows from the region, undermining the single currency’s support levels.

Beyond trade, Rabobank highlights the often-overlooked impact of EU accession politics on the euro. The account turned out to be the second biggest loser, followed by another mammoth $720,000 lossThe three biggest losers banking on a Spanish victory lost a total of over $3 million between them.
On the other side of the coin, one freshly-created account hit the jackpot. The account, named “fishalive,” placed two bets, against Spain winning and the match’s spread, netting over $8.5 million in total.

However, with such large sums placed on such low odds, these bets are likely hedging exposure elsewhere, via another profile or on another platform.

In all, Monday’s match in Atlanta saw a total of $64 million worth of Polymarket positions traded, just over half of which was placed on the overall ‘moneyline’ result.
