BitMine Immersion Technologies hit a major milestone on Wall Street today, marking a big start to Q2.

On Thursday, the firm was uplisted to the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) from the ‘smaller’ NYSE American. In a statement, Tom Lee, Chairman of the world’s largest Ethereum treasury said that being uplisted to the “big board” is a “major milestone.” He added,

“The NYSE is the most prestigious venerable stock exchange with a storied history.”

This could increase the firm’s visibility and, by extension, its trading volume.

Additionally, the firm’s board approved the overhaul of its share buyback from 2025’s $1 billion to $4 billion. Commenting on the massive buyback cash, Lee claimed,

Bitmine’s expanded $4 billion buyback reflects our commitment to shareholders. There may be a time in the future when Bitmine shares are trading below intrinsic value, and the Company wants to be in a position to accretively retire common shares.

This means that the firm could actively begin its share buyback if the mNAV (market-to-Net Asset Value) falls below 1. In other words, when its share trades at a discount to its ETH holdings, then the buyback will be initiated.

The $4B program ranked BitMine among the top 10 firms with the largest corporate buybacks.

BitMine’s holdings hit 4.8M ETH
Separately, the firm reported that it now holds 4.8 million ETH and was 79% done with its target of holding 6 million ETH or the ‘5% Alchemy.’ In the past week alone, it bought 40K ETH.

Unlike Strategy, which currently holds BTC for pure price appreciation and to extend the same volatility to MSTR, BitMine eyes a steady annual revenue.

The firm recently launched a MAVAN staking platform and plans to stake its entire ETH stash on it. Thanks to current staking rewards, BitMine could earn $300 million annually. In fact, the MAVAN platform won’t stop at ETH, with planned expansion to target other Proof-of-Stake (PoS)

World Liberty Financial has repaid a total of $25 million in USDS over the past two days, even as its token continues to decline amid ongoing scrutiny of its borrowing strategy.

In a post on X, the project confirmed it repaid $15 million two days ago, followed by an additional $10 million today.

Repayments follow backlash over borrowing and liquidity

The move comes after mounting criticism of WLFI's activity on its own lending platform, where it emerged as one of the largest borrowers.

As previously reported, the project deposited billions of WLFI tokens as collateral and borrowed over $75 million in stablecoins. This move drove lending yields higher but also strained liquidity.

The situation sparked concerns among users who were unable to withdraw funds, with analysts warning of potential bad debt and broader contagion risks if positions were not managed carefully.

WLFI dismissed those concerns, stating it was "nowhere near liquidation" and could add more collateral if needed.

Strong technical momentum, with Bitcoin now testing a very important resistance zone

Near‑term, the outlook remains bullish if Bitcoin holds its $69,000–$70,000 support range. The next event to watch is the SEC’s CLARITY Act roundtable on April 16, which could either confirm the current momentum or trigger a re‑evaluation by traders.

Bitcoin Price Analysis

Bitcoin is currently trading around $72,900–$73,000, still technically in a larger bearish trend, but now showing signs of a relief rally after a deep oversold phase.

Bitcoin is now testing a major resistance zone between $72,000 and $76,000—a range that has acted as strong resistance since 2024 and has repeatedly flipped between support and resistance over 2025 and 2026. If $BTC breaks and holds above $76,000, analysts expect a move toward the mid‑$80s, around $85,000–$86,000, as the next major target.

Ethereum Price Analysis

Ethereum has bounced back above $2,240–$2,250, recovering about 9% in the last week.
