Crypto theft rings are increasingly moving beyond online scams into real-world violence, according to U.S. prosecutors and investigators.

Federal authorities say organized groups are now combining hacking, social engineering, burglary and physical intimidation to target cryptocurrency holders.

The warning comes as a California man known online as “GothFerrari” was sentenced to federal prison for his role in a sprawling crypto theft network tied to more than $250 million in stolen digital assets.

According to AMINA, the new integration gives clients regulated access to the Canton Network, a blockchain built for capital markets activity such as tokenized assets, collateral management, repo transactions, and settlement. Digital Asset developed the network, while backers include the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation, Visa, BitGo, Goldman Sachs, and Citadel. Institutional investors using AMINA’s banking platform can now hold and trade Canton Coin without relying on crypto-native custodians or exchanges. The bank said the setup could support firms using Canton Network infrastructure for tokenization and financial settlement operations. From Zug, Switzerland, AMINA has continued adding regulated crypto services across multiple jurisdictions over the past year. In November 2025, the bank received a Type 1 license uplift from Hong Kong’s Securities and Futures Commission, allowing its local subsidiary to provide crypto trading and custody services to institutional investors in the city. At the time, AMINA said Hong Kong had become one of Asia’s most active regulated crypto markets for professional investors and family offices. While Everyone Is Focused on Bitcoin’s Rally, an Analysis Firm Has Issued a Warning – “This Level Must Be Breached for Confirmation”
Cryptocurrency analytics company CryptoQuant stated that while claims of Bitcoin hitting a bottom are becoming increasingly common, on-chain data has not yet confirmed this. According to the company’s analysis, in the current scenario where Bitcoin is trading around $80,870, the cost zones of losing investors are creating significant resistance to the price.

The analysis indicated that the realized cost prices of three different investor cohorts were above the current market price. Accordingly, investors who held Bitcoin for 3 to 6 months had a realized cost price of $88,880, while the group of investors who held it for 12 to 18 months had a cost level of $93,450. The highest supply was found in the 6- to 12-month investor group, at $111,850. CryptoQuant stated that each of these levels represents a “break-even point” for investors who have incurred losses.

According to the company, for the bottom to be confirmed, Bitcoin first needs to surpass the $88,880 level and maintain its position above it. The analysis states that short-term rallies alone will not be sufficient; the price needs to strongly defend this level after breaking through. In such a scenario, the newest group of investors would regain profitability, and the initial major selling pressure would dissipate.
CryptoQuant also noted that rallies in the $85,000 to $88,000 range are still facing selling pressure from investors who bought between November 2025 and February 2026. According to the analysis, each upward attempt becomes a significant distribution zon

According to Market Analyst Samson Mow, Strategy Selling Bitcoin Isn’t a Bad Thing—Here’s Why




Samson Mow made noteworthy statements regarding Strategy’s remarks that it could sell Bitcoin if necessary.

Mow argued that it was “not a bad thing” for a Bitcoin treasury company to sell $BTC when circumstances required it, saying the main goal should be to protect shareholders and provide flexibility to the company.

According to Mow, the “never sell Bitcoin” approach restricts companies’ room for maneuver. Describing public markets as a “battlefield,” Mow stated that a company sticking to only one strategy can create an advantage for short-positioning investors and arbitrageurs. He argued that Strategy’s ability to utilize different tools such as selling, hedging, or issuing new shares when necessary makes the company more resilient to market attacks.

Mow also recalled that his previously designed Bitcoin bond model included planned $BTC sales. He explained that after a five-year lock-in period, the issuer would sell $BTC, providing investors with a return on capital. Mow stated that Strategy’s STRC structure follows a similar logic, adding that both models reduce Bitcoin volatility while offering investors upside potential.
