The stablecoin issuer said Hyperliquid is evolving beyond perpetual futures trading into outcome-based markets.
Summary Circle became the technical deployment partner for USDC on Hyperliquid as the stablecoin issuer expands its DeFi strategy. USDC will continue serving as the primary collateral and quote asset across Hyperliquid's growing trading ecosystem.
Circle disclosed it staked an additional 500,000 HYPE tokens after previously purchasing HYPE in September 2025. Circle announced it is deepening its partnership with Hyperliquid by becoming the technical deployment partner for USDC on the decentralized trading platform, further embedding the stablecoin into one of crypto's fastest-growing on-chain derivatives ecosystems. According to a report from ChainCatcher, USDC will operate as an "Aligned Quote Asset" across Hyperliquid's expanding network of trading products. Circle stated it will provide minting, redemption, and cross-chain transfer infrastructure designed to support liquidity management and capital movement across the ecosystem. The partnership also includes a larger financial commitment from Circle into the Hyperliquid network. The company disclosed that after purchasing HYPE tokens in September 2025, it has now staked an additional 500,000 HYPE tokens as it moves toward potentially becoming a validator within the ecosystem. CME, NYSE owner lobby Washington to regulate Hyperliquid over manipulation and sanctions fears



Two major US exchange powerhouses are moving against a top decentralized trading venue. According to Bloomberg, CME Group and Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), which owns the New York Stock Exchange, are urging US authorities to regulate Hyperliquid amid concerns that its largely offshore, lightly regulated trading environment could be vulnerable to market manipulation and sanctions evasion.

Hyperliquid’s native HYPE token slipped approximately 6% in reaction to the development, moving from above $45 to below $43, per CoinGecko. It has a market cap of around $10.3 billion, making it the 13th-largest crypto asset globally.

Summary Haga announced the restructuring on X, saying the company is sharpening focus on core data products used by thousands of crypto industry customers. Dune MCP, the firm's new Al tool, lets teams build dashboards and workflows without knowledge of SQL or data infrastructure. Dune last raised capital in a $69.4 million Series B led by Coatue in 2022 and described itself as well-capitalised following the cuts. Haga posted on X Thursday morning that the company had let go of 25% of its team, calling those affected
"exceptional people" he would personally recommend. Tracn data put Dune's headcount at 143 as of March 2026, suggesting roughly 35 staff members were let go. Recently, Bitcoin (BTC) and altcoins have been warned that the quantum computing threat poses a significant risk and that urgent action is needed.
While many altcoins have taken significant steps in this regard, the latest announcements have come from Cardano (ADA).
Speaking to Gokhshtein News Network, Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson stated that Cardano addressed concerns about quantum computing before they became a direct threat.
Hoskinson said that although some argue that quantum risks will only become apparent many years from now, Cardano disagrees and is already researching quantum-resistant alternatives.
At this point, Hoskinson stated that the Cardano network is currently working on a private quantum strategy, and a research proposal focusing on quantum resistance is expected to be presented next week.
Hoskinson actually stated that Cardano could support Bitcoin’s proposed BIP-361 solution to protect the network against quantum threats.
According to Hoskinson, Cardano could adopt a similar approach without much difficulty. He noted that this is essentially a hard fork, and Cardano already regularly implements hard forks.

While altcoins are taking quantum threats seriously, last month Ripple announced a four-phase roadmap aimed at making the XRP Ledger resilient to quantum threats by 2028.
