Bitcoin slid lower over the last 24 hours, dropping to around $77,300 after struggling to hold above the $80,000 level. The fall of about 1.6% coincided with a general pullback across the crypto market, which also lost ground during the same span. The fall was fueled by activity in the derivatives market. An avalanche of sales then sent prices crashing, resulting in mass liquidations. Over $125 million in Bitcoin positions were erased in a single day, according to data. Broader crypto market volumes were nearly $395 million in total liquidations, and long positions were the biggest ones by far.

Bitcoin traded at $76,923 on Tuesday morning, down 2.4% over 24 hours after climbing to $79,399 on Monday and reversing through the day. Ether fell 3.7% to $2,290, XRP slipped 3.2% to $1.39, Solana dropped 3.9% to $84.10, and BNB declined 1.8% to $625. The whole top 10 closed red on 24 hours outside Tron and Dogecoin.

Brent crude rose 1% to above $109 a barrel, extending its rally to a seventh day after Iran's interim deal proposal to reopen the Strait of Hormuz failed to advance over the weekend. The White House said US officials were discussing the latest Iranian proposal but maintained "red lines" on any deal to end the eight-week war.

The MSCI Asia Pacific Index was little changed, with Japanese stocks supported by the Bank of Japan's 6-3 split decision to keep policy unchanged. The yen strengthened 0.3% to around 159 per dollar.

BREAKING: Coinbase Announces It Has Delisted an “Already Dead” Altcoin


Cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase has announced a significant decision regarding Chrono.tech’s native token, TIME, following its recent assessments to ensure compliance with listing standards. The company stated that trading in Chrono.tech (TIME) will be suspended (delisted) on May 11, 2026, at approximately 9:00 PM Turkish time (2:00 PM ET).

According to the announcement, the decision to suspend trading will affect both Coinbase’s basic and advanced trading platforms, as well as Coinbase Exchange and Coinbase Prime services. This will effectively disable trading of the TIME token across the entire platform.

Coinbase also stated that, as part of the transition to the trading suspension process, order books for TIME have been put into “limit only” mode.
