Record Inflows Lifted the Market
The industry set a new record in 2025. US ETFs attracted $1.48 trillion in net new money during the year. That marked the strongest annual inflow total on record.

US equity ETFs led that advance. They pulled in more than $900 billion during 2025. As a result, equities remained the main driver of industry expansion.

Fixed-income ETFs also posted strong gains. Their assets reached $2.27 trillion by year-end 2025, up 26% from the prior year. Demand spread across government bonds and corporate credit.

He said that Michael Saylor might still be justified in accumulating further in such a case. In a follow-up conversation, Schiff explained he was not making a hard prediction, but was just demonstrating how long-term performance stories could be pitched.

The debate got heated after Schiff answered a question wherein a user asked which of Bitcoin and gold would be the first to hit $10,000. “Probably Bitcoin,” he said, which infuriated BTC maximalists.

His comments come as the Bitcoin (BTC) price is already experiencing a new wave of volatility. Nonetheless, Saylor has not taken any action to counter the comments of Schiff.

CFTC Chairman Mike Selig first launched the task force on March 24 and appointed Michael Passalacqua to lead it.  On Friday, the agency confirmed the first five members and outlined broader efforts tied to its push for clearer rules for new technologies. Stringent internet and crypto regulations continue to tighten in China. Amid these stricter rules, new crypto news emerged: Apple reportedly removed Bitchat from its Chinese App Store. It is a decentralized messaging app created by Block CEO Jack Dorsey.

Notably, the move followed China’s internet regulator, the Cyberspace Administration of China (CAC), raising concerns about the application. Jack Dorsey shared an X post, revealing the crypto news. He wrote, “Bitchat pulled from the China App Store.”

According to the CAC, Bitchat broke rules for online services that could influence public opinion or organize social activity. The agency stated that applications are required to undergo security checks before launch.

Apple told Dorsey that both the App Store version and the TestFlight beta would no longer be available in China. However, the app is still accessible in other countries.
