$XRP has been in a holding pattern on April 10, trading between $1.34 and $1.35 as institutional investors wait for the US Senate to act on legislation that could permanently define $XRP’s regulatory status. The next window opens April 13.

$XRP Stuck in Range as Senate Recess Ends

According to FX Leaders, $XRP held between $1.33 and $1.35 on April 10, posting modest gains of 0.8% to 1.0% over the prior 24 hours. The range trade reflects a market waiting for a binary legislative outcome rather than responding to technicals.

The Senate returns from Easter recess on April 13, with the Banking Committee markup of the CLARITY Act targeted for the second half of the month. As crypto.news reported, Polymarket currently gives the bill roughly a 63% to 66% probability of becoming law in 2026. Senator Bernie Moreno has warned publicly that missing the May window risks pushing the legislation off the calendar for the rest of the year.

What the CLARITY Act Means for $XRP

The CLARITY Act would formally define $XRP as a digital commodity under US law, giving banks and large asset managers the legal certainty they need to commit capital at scale. Standard Chartered analyst Geoffrey Kendrick has projected that Senate Banking Committee advancement could unlock $4 to $8 billion in additional $XRP ETF inflows.

Seven US spot $XRP ETFs already pulled in $1.44 billion since launching between September and December 2025, without the CLARITY Act as law. With formal legislation in place, analysts say institutional capital currently sitting on the sidelines would have permanent legal cover to enter at scale.

A Spot ETF Signal Has Been Issued for an Altcoin – It Could Launch Soon

Cryptocurrency management company Bitwise Asset Management has taken a significant step towards launching a new exchange-traded fund (ETF) focused on Hyperliquid ($HYPE).

According to updated filing documents submitted to the SEC, the company made a second amendment to Form S-1 filing for the “Bitwise Hyperliquid ETF.”

Bloomberg ETF analyst Eric Balchunas stated that the update indicates an imminent ETF launch. Balchunas added that the ETF will trade under the ticker “BHYP” and will have an annual management fee of 0.67% (67 basis points). According to the experienced analyst, clarification of such details is generally considered an indication that the product will be launched soon.

Balchunas also noted that the price of Hyperliquid ($HYPE) has increased by approximately 200% in the last year, and stated that Bitwise wants to “launch the product while it’s hot” following this strong performance.

According to the application documents, the Bitwise Hyperliquid ETF aims to offer investors direct exposure to the Hyperliquid asset. The fund’s primary objective is to reflect the value of Hyperliquid held, while its secondary objective is to provide additional returns through staking.

The ETF’s shares are planned to be listed on the NYSE Arca exchange. The fund’s net asset value (NAV) will be determined based on the Hyperliquid-Dollar reference price calculated by CF Benchmarks.

The 20-day average trading volume had been weak in March and the beginning of April but was starting to reach higher.

The breakout past the psychological round number resistance at $0.03, accompanied by increased trading volume, signaled market conviction.

The OBV did not see a dramatic move higher, as the increased spot trading volume has only kicked in recently. The current bullish breakout came alongside a strong RSI spike to 75, into overbought territory.

This can be followed by a short-term correction, but overall, the structure was bullish. The $0.0169 and $0.031 levels were the key ones to watch since December.

Monad managed a bullish internal structure break on the 1-day timeframe on the 14th of February. The altcoin has set higher lows since then, maintaining the uptrend.

Beyond $0.0314, the $0.046-$0.048 supply zone just below the all-time high would be the next target.

Should traders buy the MON breakout?

The steady uptrend in March meant that there was not much time for long liquidations to build up. The closest cluster of liquidity to the south was at $0.025, and a larger pocket at $0.02-$0.0218.

From $0.025 to $0.035, the current market price, there was a vacuum of notable long liquidations. Meanwhile, short liquidations up to $0.04 could provide fuel for a short squeeze in the coming days.

Headline CPI rose 0.9% on the month, driven by a roughly 10.9% surge in energy costs tied to the ongoing Middle East conflict, keeping annual inflation at 3.3%. Core CPI came in at 2.6% year-on-year, slightly below the 2.7% economists had forecast.

Soft Core Print Gives Bitcoin Bulls a Brief Opening

The below-forecast reading gave crypto traders a short-lived reason to add exposure. Bitcoin rose in the minutes following the release, with FXLeaders noting that $BTC “reclaimed $72,000 as macro fears fuel appetite for digital scarcity.” The move was measured rather than explosive, reflecting a market still navigating sticky headline inflation against a softer underlying trend. As crypto.news noted, the inflation print “came in line with expectations” at the headline level, easing fears of an even hotter surprise while confirming that price pressures remain elevated but stable.

The distinction matters for traders. A softer core number reduces the probability of an aggressive Fed pivot toward tightening. But with annual headline CPI running at 3.3%, the highest reading since May 2025, the Fed has little political or economic space to move toward cuts.

Publicly traded Bitcoin mining firm Cango (NYSE: CANG) has joined the list of major players using their BTC holdings to manage debt and pivot to AI investments.

On Wednesday, the firm announced that it sold 2000 BTC in March, calling it a “strategic de-leveraging” to retire its BTC-backed loans.

The firm added that it raised $75 million and that some of the proceeds from the “strategic de-leveraging” will help drive its diversification.

This de-leveraging, combined with recent capital infusions, strengthens Cango’s balance sheet to support its planned transition into energy and AI infrastructure.

Bitcoin hashrate drops as Cango, other miners pivot to AI
Now, the firm holds 1,025.69 BTC. Interestingly, Cango said that its aggressive lean operations have helped reduce its BTC production costs by 19% in Q1. For perspective, in Q4 2025, its cost of production for 1 unit of BTC was $84.5K. By March 2026, this dropped to $68.2K.

While this is a great improvement, the miner would still be in distress if BTC’s price falls below $68K. In such a scenario, it could be forced to liquidate more of its BTC holdings to stay afloat.

From this backdrop, the growing trend of public miners rushing to AI infrastructure ventures to maximize their compute power for extra revenues makes sense.

Cango now joins the growing list of public miners pivoting to AI, including MARA, Bit Digital, Core Scientific, IREN, Bitfarms, TerraWulf, and Cipher Mining.

With some dedicating part of their BTC energy and computing power to AI, BTC’s global hashrate has declined too. In fact, according to Glassnode, the global hashrate declined from a record high of 1.115 Zetahash/s to 950 Exahashes/s – A 17.4% fall in BTC overall computational power.

What could follow CFG’s price breakout?

On the 4-hour chart, CFG broke out of an ascending triangle consolidation with the price spiking to $0.26. Shortly, sellers countered the move, and the altcoin has since dropped to $0.2267.

Usually, prices tend to enter healthy corrections after such breakouts. That suggested that Centrifuge prices may start dipping to around the 0.5 Fibonacci Retracement level or optimal reversal zones between the 0.618 and 0.786 Fib levels.

Breaking above $0.26 would put $0.35 in sight, as there are close to no resistance levels above on the bigger timeframes.

The Cumulative Volume Delta (CVD) indicated the price may have reached its high of the day. It dropped to the red zone with a reading of more than 514K CFG being sold from a peak net buying volume of 4.86 million tokens.

However, the Trend Strength Index (TSI) showed the direction bias was still intact even though the price was pulling back. With a TSI reading of 0.83, it meant bull trend strength was in the 80th percentile.

Tracking Centrifuge’s RWA capital

On the network activity side, Centrifuge hit a new monthly peak for asset senders at 24 and a new high for holders at 23. This indicated growth in RWA issuance, though the pace was slow.

RWA’s capital deployed on Centrifuge this month rose by 45.3%, reaching $1.7 billion from $1.17 billion. CFG’s monthly token trading volume also jumped by 154%, recorded at $1 billion.
