The crypto market right now is in an interesting phase. Prices are moving, but not exploding yet. That's usually where long-term opportunities start building. Instead of chasing pumps, many investors are looking at strong setups-projects with either solid fundamentals or early-stage growth potential.

Right now, four names are standing out in that mix: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, and a newer entry-Little Pepe (LILPEPE).

Bitcoin Still Leading, But Facing Key Barriers

Bitcoin is currently trading around the $68,000-$74,000 range, holding its position as the market leader but still struggling to fully break into a strong uptrend.

From a technical view, major resistance sits around $72,000 and $78,000. Until those levels are properly reclaimed, the market is likely to stay in a consolidation phase.

On the downside, support zones are forming between $65,000-$63,000 in broader structure terms, showing that Bitcoin still has long-term strength but limited short-term explosiveness.

For long-term investors, Bitcoin remains the "safe" play-but the upside is more gradual compared to smaller-cap assets.

Last week started with the cumulative Spot Bitcoin [BTC] ETF recording $471.4 million in inflows, in which BlackRock’s IBIT recorded the highest inflow worth $181.9 million, followed by Fidelity’s FBTC with $147.3 million.

Ark Invest’s ARKB also saw inflows worth $118.8 million, whereas Grayscale recorded inflows worth $17.6 million. Meanwhile, others recorded minimal to zero flows.

However, on the 7th of April, Bitcoin ETFs saw outflows worth $159.1 million, in which Fidelity’s FBTC recorded the maximum outflows worth $47.8 million. Following the trail was Grayscale’s GBTC, which recorded $41.9 million in outflows, whereas BlackRock’s IBIT saw $17.1 million flowing out.

Even on the 8th of April, when the ceasefire was announced, the outflows continued, with the cumulative BTC ETF recording $93.9 million in outflows. On this day, only Fidelity’s FBTC, Ark Invest’s ARKB, and Grayscale’s GBTC recorded outflows worth $79.1 million, $74.7 million, and $11.1 million, respectively. 

All other ETFs recorded inflows, with IBIT leading at $40.4 million. Interestingly, things changed on the 9th and 10th of April, wherein $358.1 million and $240.2 million, respectively, flowed into the BTC ETFs. On both these days, IBIT received maximum inflows worth $269.3 million and $137.6 million, respectively. Whereas Grayscale’s GBTC recorded zero flows on both days.

* Third, a schema rule layer, used to standardize the organization of knowledge and the system's operational logic.

Around this structure, the system operates through three core operations: Ingest, continuously incorporating external information; Query, enabling immediate access to knowledge; and Lint, used to check structural consistency and fix potential problems.

Under this mechanism, knowledge no longer remains a one-time dialogue result, but rather gradually accumulates into reusable long-term assets through a cycle of "writing—organizing—reusing."  Based on this, the author proposes that this model enables knowledge to accumulate with a "compound interest" effect: on the one hand, it reduces the cognitive burden on individuals, and on the other hand, it improves the accuracy and contextual consistency of the model's output.

However, the effective operation of this system also relies on a prerequisite—continuous input and maintenance. Without stable data injection and structural updates, this "second brain" will struggle to achieve a true cumulative effect, and its advantages will diminish.

According to Arkham Intelligence data, a wallet linked to World Liberty Financial deposited about 5 billion WLFI crypto tokens on Dolomite. These tokens were then used as collateral to raise approximately $75 million in stablecoins, such as USD Coin and USD1.

However, other users on X have also pointed out that although WLFI is highly valued, it is not a liquid token. The implication here is that even a relatively small percentage of tokens sold during a liquidation can have a considerable effect on the token’s price.

Another group of users has likened the process to “borrowing against self-created value.” They added, “It’s the financial equivalent of printing casino chips, borrowing cash against them, and telling everyone else not to panic because the house still believes in the chips.”

It’s not breaking out aggressively, but it’s also not showing major weakness. That’s mainly because Ethereum continues to act as the backbone of DeFi, NFTs, and tokenization.

Long-term projections still place Ethereum in a growth path toward the $2,800–$3,500 range if momentum returns.

Support is forming near the $1,750 zone, while resistance remains closer to $2,200. Until that breaks, ETH is likely to move steadily rather than explosively.

Since falling from its all-time high in 2025, the Bitcoin price has failed to initiate another major upward move, reinforcing the bear market narrative. After this sharp downward action over the past few months, the amount of BTC supply in loss is spiking hard, reaching levels not seen in years.

Profit Supply On Bitcoin Contracts To Multi-Year Lows
Bitcoin’s price may have witnessed a brief upswing, reclaiming the $72,000 mark, but the underlying structure remains highly bearish. The prolonged negative price performance has started to influence BTC’s market dynamics, with supply in the loss territory rising at a fast rate.

With the price of Bitcoin falling sharply, Darkfost, a market expert and CryptoQuant’s verified author, revealed that profit supply has collapsed, nearing levels last seen in the last bear market phase. This decline, which reflects the strain of recent market activity, indicates that an increasing percentage of holders are either at breakeven or sitting on unrealized losses.

Darkfost stated that nearly 1 BTC out of 2 is held at a loss as of Thursday. To be precise, the share of Bitcoin supply still in profit is estimated at around 59%, a level that almost aligns with what was observed during the last bear market. According to historical data, the average level sits closer to about 75% of supply in profit. Therefore, the current market cycle is now below typical levels.

These levels can trigger periods of capitulation or consolidation, but they also frequently indicate a decline in market confidence and a diminished motivation to sell. While it may seem counterintuitive to some crypto players, the expert claims that the market clearly needs investors to make profits in order to maintain a positive momentum.

Bitcoin is still holding around $71,000 after the weekend’s ceasefire-driven risk bounce, even as the macro story behind that move has already started to fray. That leaves the market in an awkward middle ground. Price kept part of the upside. The chain still has not confirmed that the move reflects broad underlying demand.

That gap is the real story right now. The first reaction came from geopolitics and cross-market repricing, not from obvious on-chain urgency.

Since then, the ceasefire narrative has weakened, ETF flows have steadied, and Bitcoin has held enough ground to keep the bullish case alive. What remains unresolved is whether this is the start of a more durable demand cycle or simply a macro reflex that outran conviction.

After just a few days, the first move is already old news. On April 8, U.S. crude settled at $94.41, Brent at $94.75, the S&P 500 was up 2.5%, and the Dow was higher by 1,325 points after President Donald Trump announced a two-week ceasefire with Iran.

By the next session, the reset was already wobbling. April 9 showed stocks recovering from early losses to finish modestly higher, while oil stayed elevated after its rebound, and the ceasefire already looked fragile.

As of Sunday, April 12, the macro backdrop looks even less settled. AP reported today that U.S.-Iran talks in Islamabad ended without an agreement, with both sides blaming each other, and the two-week truce still under strain. That pushes the market one step further away from the easy version of the bullish case that treated the ceasefire as a stable reset in risk appetite.
