According to Everstake, the largest global non-custodial staking infrastructure provider, the ETH staking ecosystem has evolved, reaching a $85.2 billion market cap. With the massive market cap, the ecosystem is turning into a fortress of security. Everstake stated that the sheer scale of this is absolutely mind-blowing.

Such a sharp rise in ETH staking market capitalization is indicative of increased involvement from both individual and institutional holders, who are all looking for profits while enhancing network security. As a result of this, Ethereum’s economic model is changing, becoming a more yield-driven and capital-efficient economy.

Looking at the chart shared by Everstake, the Ethereum network is now commanding more locked capital than the rest of the leading networks combined. ETH leads with over $85.2 billion, while Solana and BNB Chain come in second and third positions, with $35.5 billion and $15.2 billion, respectively.

Bitcoin at a Very Critical Junction! According to the Analyst, This Level Will Determine Its Fate: Pump or Dump?


The leading cryptocurrency, Bitcoin ($BTC), has been experiencing a surge in recent days, influenced by the ceasefire talks between the US and Iran.

After rising above $76,000, $BTC, as it has for a long time, encountered resistance and was rejected, falling back to the $74,000 level.

While bullish expectations continue due to $BTC’s recent movements, one analyst has warned of a major drop.

At this point, popular analyst Ali Martinez said that Bitcoin is at a critical juncture.

According to Martinez, Bitcoin has once again tested the 100-day moving average (SMA), which is considered a significant resistance level.

Sharing his latest analysis from account X, the analyst stated that for the third time in the last six months, $BTC has retested the 100-day SMA level on the daily chart as a resistance point.

He added that $BTC absolutely needs to hold the $73,000 level to sustain its upward momentum.

The analyst noted that the market failed to hold this level twice, once in October last year and again in January this year, and said that if it doesn’t break this resistance permanently this time, further declines could occur.

Martinez warned that a failure of the current retest could form a triple top pattern. This pattern could potentially send the Bitcoin price back to its all-time low of $59,000.

Conversely, if $BTC breaks this resistance and establishes a sustained position above the 100-day SMA, the price could rise to the $80,000-$84,000 range, he stated.

Bitcoin rally is taking a breather near $75,000. Onchain data shows why

Bitcoin has climbed nearly 10% this month, but the rally is running into resistance near $75,000. The pause is notable as U.S. stocks push to record highs.

On-chain data shows holders are selling into strength, helping explain the slowdown.

It is evident from an on-chain indicator called realized profit/loss, which tracks the total dollar value of gains or losses locked in by holders when they move their coins on-chain. The indicator compares the current price at which coins are being moved with the price at which they last moved (the assumed acquisition cost), effectively showing whether investors are selling at a profit or a loss.

Values above 1 indicate increased profit-taking, and the 30-day exponential moving average (EMA) is currently well above that threshold. The EMA is used to smooth out day-to-day noise and highlight the broader trend in realized profits.

"Profit-taking activity is rising, with the 30D EMA of the Realized Profit/Loss Ratio at 1.16, indicating investors are selling into strength. A sustained move above $78.1K will require the market to absorb this overhead supply," the firm said in a report.

Profit-taking was particularly strong on Tuesday as Bitcoin briefly climbed toward $76,000 before quickly slipping back below $75,000. According to CryptoQuant, investors realized about $1.14 billion in profits during the move, one of the largest single-day readings this year.

The indicator, though widely tracked, has limitations, mainly that it assumes coins moving on-chain are being sold. In reality, they may simply be moving between wallets or exchanges for custody, rebalancing, or internal transfers.
