In fact, the altcoins' Relative Strength Index (RSI) made a bullish crossover and jumped to 73, while the signal dropped to 66. At these levels, RSI indicated that buyers have strong control of the market, but with the signal line at 66, the margin is minimal. In essence, while buyers still control, their dominance is not a strong warning of market pressure risks.

Strategy reversed its BTC transfer as BitMine bought $50M of Ethereum on dip.

Strategy withdrew 411.5 BTC from Coinbase Prime hours after depositing it.

BitMine holds 5.39 million ETH, near 4.47% of supply, after dip buy.

MicroStrategy, the largest corporate Bitcoin (BTC) holder, withdrew 411.5 BTC from Coinbase Prime hours after depositing it. The reversal cooled fears that Michael Saylor’s firm was preparing its first BTC sale in years.

Meanwhile, Tom Lee’s BitMine Immersion Technologies bought 25,000 Ethereum (ETH) for $50.6 million on the same day. The purchase extended one of the largest corporate ETH accumulation programs in markets.

On-chain trackers flagged the initial deposit as MicroStrategy’s first direct exchange move in nearly two years.

The transfer was split into two batches near 205 BTC each, with smaller wallet transactions also active.

Saylor signaled this week that Strategy could sell some BTC before year-end, citing dividend and capital needs. The remark had shifted prediction-market pricing even before the Coinbase Prime move.

The deposit pushed Polymarket odds on Strategy selling any Bitcoin in 2026 above 90%. Those odds eased after the withdrawal but stayed elevated.

Companies such as Databricks and Klarna are among the most anticipated listings, while firms like OpenAI, Anthropic, and SpaceX continue to dominate investor expectations. So far, Q2 has been heavily equities-driven. As highlighted in the chart below, the S&P500 is up 16% compared to Bitcoin’s 8% rally. That means almost 2x more capital rotating into U.S equities versus $BTC – Evidence of a clear investor preference for traditional risk assets over crypto at this stage of the cycle.

In this context, the upcoming IPO wave could further widen this gap.

Notably, the impact is already showing up in Bitcoin’s technical structure. Despite $BTC still being up roughly 8% in Q2, May’s pullback has dragged the price action back towards the $70K-region, with the market increasingly pricing in the risk of a breakdown below that level.

Meanwhile, the S&P500 is up nearly 5% over the same period, reinforcing the equities-led momentum currently driving broader risk markets. Against this backdrop, the growing distribution risk around Bitcoin [$BTC] doesn’t really look like a fluke, but more like a strategic rotation in positioning.

To separate strategic positioning from a short-term rotation, institutional flows become a key signal.

The logic is simple – During a normal correction, markets usually deleverage, smart money starts accumulating, and Bitcoin moves into consolidation before attempting a rebound. But this cycle does not seem to be following that typical setup, as distribution risk has climbed sharply to record highs this year.
