Over the years, many Israeli companies have transferred part of their activities overseas, in order to save costs or to be closer to their target markets. Workers in East Asia, for example, have always been cheaper than Israeli workers. In its 2025 report, thermoplastics company Polyram (TASE:
POLP) announced the opening of a new factory in Thailand and the transfer of some production lines from Israel. "These steps indicate a change in the center of the company's business activity," it
stated. Another company to have transferred production oversea is Caesarstone (Nasdaq:
CSTE), the manufacturer of kitchen and bathroom surfaces from Kibbutz Sdot Yam.
Because of a crisis in its business and a slide in its share price, Caesarstone has in recent years closed factories in Israel, laid off hundreds of workers, and transferred production to global sub-contractors in the East. The financials released last week by water meter systems company Arad (TASE:
ARD), controlled by kibbutzim Dalia and Ramot Menashe, indicate another factor that could lead to export-oriented industrial companies to transfer activity overseas: the continued strengthening of the shekel against the US dollar. When sales are denominated in dollars and wages are in shekels, profits are squeezed and production in Israel becomes more expensive. Arad, which develops and produces computerized systems for remote reading of water meters, and is traded on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange with a market cap of NIS 1.2 billion, reported that it had taken a number of steps that reduced the impact of the appreciation of the shekel on its financial results. Among them are the transfer of production for the European market from Israel to sites in Spain and Italy, and the transfer of production for the US market to the group's site in Mexico. According to the announcement, the number of wallets holding at least 100,000 $LINK has reached an all-time high of 805. At current prices, this amount is worth approximately $958,000 or more.

According to Santiment data, the number of wallets holding 100,000 or more $LINK has increased by 8.2% in the last 7 weeks. The platform argues that this rise indicates strengthening optimism among large investors regarding Chainlink. Chainlink is currently the 16th largest project in the cryptocurrency sector by total market capitalization.

On the other hand, Santiment also shared the cryptocurrency projects that stood out in terms of developer activity in the last 30 days. According to the data, MetaMask’s mUSD project topped the list. Hedera ($HBAR) came in second, while Chainlink ($LINK) took third place.

As chair of the Senate Banking subcommittee on digital assets, Senator Cynthia Lummis is advocating the CLARITY Act as the long-awaited answer to the "regulatory limbo" that exists for cryptocurrencies in the United States. She claims that years of unclear, contradictory rules have driven domestic innovation and capital overseas, forcing developers and exchanges to speculate on whether the SEC, CFTC, or yet another body will come knocking next. She argues the bill would create a basic market-structure framework by clearly classifying tokens into either securities or commodities categories and creating clear jurisdictional boundaries between regulators, hence substituting enforcement volatility with legal
certainty. Essentially, the Act seeks to specify precisely how federal law treats market participants by requiring unambiguous token-classification criteria, disclosure requirements, and supervision duties.
Supporters think this change from a "whack-a-mole" enforcement stance to codified
regulations would boost company confidence, reduce compliance costs, and stop the exodus of talent to international jurisdictions already providing more explicit crypto frameworks. The bill aims to re-anchor blockchain innovation within the United States instead of seeing it relocate internationally by providing a clear set of rules to developers, exchanges, and middlemen. Though it still needs reconciliation with any House-driven crypto market-structure legislation and a final presidential sign-off, the CLARITY Act has already cleared the Senate Banking Committee and is charging toward a full-chamber vote. Traders and protocol developers view Lummiss legislative drive as a sign that Washington is turning toward a rules-based system as opposed to ad hoc enforcement.
