Crypto ETPs Pull $1.1B in Best Week Since January
The majority of those flows came through U.S. spot Bitcoin ETF products, which posted $786.3 million in inflows last week.
Global crypto exchange-traded products drew $1.1 billion in net inflows last week, the strongest weekly result since early January, according to CoinShares data published Monday.

Bitcoin products led with $872 million in inflows, lifting year-to-date Bitcoin ETP inflows to nearly $2 billion, which accounts for roughly 83% of the $2.3 billion in total crypto ETP inflows recorded so far in 2026. The majority of those flows came through U.S. spot Bitcoin ETF products, which posted $786.3 million in inflows last week, according to SoSoValue data.

CoinShares head of research James Butterfill attributed the weekly surge to softer-than-expected U.S. inflation and spending data, combined with a temporary easing of geopolitical tensions, which together revived investor risk appetite. The result marked a sharp recovery from the prior week's modest $224 million in inflows.

Ethereum investment products rebounded with $196.5 million in inflows, ending three consecutive weeks of outflows. Despite the improvement, Ethereum remains in net outflow territory year-to-date at minus $130 million, one of the few major assets still carrying a negative annual flow balance.

Short-Bitcoin products also attracted $20.2 million, their largest weekly inflow since November 2024, indicating that a portion of investors were hedging against further downside even as spot products led the market higher. XRP ETPs added $19.3 million, while Solana funds shed $2.5 million.

Regionally, the United States accounted for $1.065 billion, or about 95% of total weekly inflows. Germany added $34.6 million, while Canada and Switzerland recorded $7.8 million and $6.9 million, respectively.
