BnkToTheFuture CEO Accuses Celsius of "Stealing" 289 BTC from his account before suspending withdrawals

Simon Dixon, CEO and co-founder of online investment platform BnkToTheFuture, has accused Celsius Network of "stealing" more than 289 of his own bitcoins (worth $8.8 million) before a loan application was even approved. He also cited Celsius co-founder Alex Mashinsky for his involvement in the theft of his own funds. It was previously suggested that data tables showed Simon Dixon used insider information to withdraw $8.8 million in bitcoin hours before Celsius suspended withdrawals on June 12, 2022. Simon Dixon said he did not make the withdrawals, and showed screenshots of his account. He tweeted, "Celsius' vulnerability is deeper than we thought. In my account alone, 289 bitcoins ($8.8 million) were taken on the day their platform suspended withdrawals, based on an early loan application they hadn't paid me. This is not just mismanagement, it's SBF-style theft of funds."
