A spokesperson for Copper declined to comment on the company's comments regarding the information, as the company has not yet formally closed the funding round. Bloomberg reported that Copper had hoped to receive $500 million in investment at a $3 billion valuation back in November last year, but as cryptocurrency prices plummeted, venture capitalists' expectations for the cryptocurrency space were revised downward, which also affected Copper's current funding round.
