Bloomberg analysts are bullish on decentralized stablecoins

Bloomberg Intelligence analysts note that algorithmic stablecoins could be game-changing for crypto to be permissionless. centralized stablecoins like Tether (USDT) and USD Coin (USDC) have been the cause for some concerns in the crypto market. However, that may be changing with the rise of algorithm-based stablecoins according to analysts at Bloomberg Intelligence. In BI’s latest Crypto Outlook Report, the analysts make a strong argument for the edge that decentralization gives algorithmic stablecoins over regular stablecoins. This is because the former, by not being issued by a centralized body, is highly regulation-resistant. “While still in relative infancy, the rise of decentralized Stablecoin alternatives are addressing one of the industry’s potential choke points — helping the sector buffer against future disruption,” the report stated.
