On March 3, Bitcoin formed a new death cross, where the 50-day simple moving average crossed below the 200-day average, signaling short-term bearish momentum. Historically, death crosses have been followed by capitulation and bottoming phases:
2014: BTC fell ~52%

Issuance resumed around July 2025.
Historically, there is an ~8-month lag between liquidity expansion and risk asset performance.
