Bitcoin: Can $400M Morgan Stanley inflows help BTC reclaim $65K?
Institutional demand for Bitcoin [$BTC] gained momentum as Morgan Stanley’s Bitcoin Trust crossed $400 million in cumulative inflows.

Meanwhile, U.S. Spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded $51.83 billion in cumulative net inflows.

However, the funds registered approximately $240 million in daily outflows, showing that near-term demand remained uneven. The divergence emerged as Bitcoin traded below the psychological $65,000 level.

This left investors questioning whether institutional demand could provide enough fuel for a recovery.

On-chain indicators suggested that the market may still have room for an upward move.

Are institutions still buying Bitcoin?

According to AMBCrypto’s analysis, Bitcoin’s MVRV Z-Score stood at 0.39. The reading suggested that $BTC traded relatively close to its Realized Value.

Historically, lower MVRV Z-Score readings have appeared near favorable accumulation periods. However, the metric alone cannot confirm that Bitcoin has reached a market bottom.

At the same time, miners appeared to reduce their selling activity. Miner transfers to exchanges fell to 968 $BTC, marking their lowest monthly reading during the observed period.

Lower transfers could reduce immediate selling pressure and give incoming demand greater influence over Bitcoin’s price.

Even so, weaker miner transfers do not guarantee that miners have stopped selling elsewhere. Together, institutional inflows and softer miner transfers could improve Bitcoin’s chances of recovering.

Can Bitcoin reclaim $65K?

Bitcoin’s technical setup showed that $65,000 remained a crucial resistance level. The former support zone became resistance during May’s decline, restricting subsequent recovery attempts.

The Shiba Inu community eagerly watches as Shiba Inu lead ambassador Shytoshi Kusama is set to mark 74 days of silence on X.

Since May 13, Kusama has neither posted on X nor engaged with any post. This would not be the first time Kusama has stepped away from posting on X to maintain a low profile on social media. A similar trend was seen in late 2025 and also part of 2026.

The Shiba Inu lead ambassador attributed his silence on X to building something; in January, he revealed an independent AI project he had been working on since then.

Kusama has frequently used X as his primary communication channel with the community; oftentimes he updated his bio and location to communicate subtle hints and sometimes conveyed his thoughts through live broadcasts, as he has in recent times.

However, with his silence on X for more than two months, the Shiba Inu community is left to piece together developments from Shiba Inu ecosystem contributors and on-chain activity instead.

After past periods of hiatus, Kusama has broken his silence with fresh updates. This precedent is fueling speculation that the latest silence could lead to a potential update from the Shiba Inu lead ambassador. As of press time, it is unconfirmed whether a major announcement is imminent.

Robinhood in talks with Crypto.com over prediction markets: WSJ



The company behind the cryptocurrency and stock trading app, Robinhood, is reportedly discussing plans to expand its existing prediction markets offering with crypto exchange Crypto.com.

According to a Friday Wall Street Journal report citing people familiar with the matter, Robinhood was in talks with Crypto.com to place yes-or-no event contracts supplied by the exchange. The trading company launched its prediction markets hub in March 2025, initially facilitated by Kalshi in order to comply with regulatory requirements from the US Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), and later using ForecastEx and Rotella.

The reported move came just days after Bernstein analysts raised the firm’s price target on Robinhood (HOOD) stock to $160 from $130 per share, based on the company’s outlook for prediction markets and tokenized equities. They predicted Robinhood’s revenue using prediction markets could reach $1.7 billion by 2028.

Ethereum ETFs lose $70.7M as BlackRock leads withdrawals – What’s next for ETH



Ethereum ETF outflows raised fresh concerns over institutional demand after U.S. spot ETFs recorded a $70.7 million net outflow on July 24.

BlackRock accounted for the largest share of that activity after investors withdrew $52.8 million from its $ETH fund.

The figures interrupted a period of sustained inflows and shifted attention toward whether large investors had started locking in profits.

However, one trading session rarely defines a broader trend, especially after weeks of consistent institutional accumulation.

Instead, the latest withdrawal suggested that some investors had adopted a more cautious stance near key price resistance.

As a result, Ethereum faced greater scrutiny because sustained ETF outflows could reduce institutional demand and weaken bullish sentiment if similar withdrawals continued over the coming sessions.

Bitcoin, Ethereum Edge Higher Despite Midweek Rally Losing Steam

Bitcoin and Ethereum ended the July 20-24 trading week modestly higher after strong midweek gains faded as investors turned cautious towards the weekend.

Bitcoin opened at around US$64,642 on July 20 before climbing to a weekly high of US$66,878 the following day. The largest cryptocurrency subsequently surrendered part of its gains, closing near US$65,225 on July 24 for a weekly increase of about 0.9%.

Ethereum, meanwhile, followed a similar but more volatile path, advancing from July 20’s opening level of US$1,869 to a weekly peak of US$1,953 on July 22. Selling pressure later dragged the token back to around US$1,877 by July 24, leaving it with a narrower weekly gain of about 0.4%.

Bitcoin received support from renewed institutional demand, with US spot exchange-traded funds recording seven consecutive days of net inflows and helping lift prices towards US$67,000. However, the rally struggled to hold as a firmer US dollar and weaker risk appetite weighed on digital assets.

The week’s performance showed that buyers remained willing to accumulate cryptocurrencies during price declines, but lacked sufficient conviction to sustain breakouts. Bitcoin’s ability to hold above US$65,000 offered some resilience, while Ethereum’s sharp retreat from US$1,950 highlighted continued selling pressure at higher levels.

Attention now turns to US monetary policy signals, particularly the Federal Reserve’s upcoming meeting, as interest-rate expectations and Treasury yields are likely to shape the next major move across the cryptocurrency market.
